Purchased for Ruger Blackhawk .357mag. Fit was easy, fast and accurate. I had to really try to see the instructions, wasn't clear how to get the retainer where it was needed prior to sliding on the grip, but wasn't any big problem. Black print on blue page doesn't work, should be yellow or white to see it. Work great, feel is good, I have smaller hand and still fit better than original. Pros: Easy upgrade, great fit Cons: Print instructions on something other than BLUE

This Monogrip will also fit the Ruger Super Wrangler .22LR/.22WMR convertible single action revolver. But there is a "catch" to installation. The grip frame of the Super Wrangler is made of zinc alloy. Which is too roughly finished to allow rubber grip and steel "stirrup" with pin to move smoothly and fit properly.
Grip frame needs to be lightly lubricated with paste wax FIRST. Before installing stirrup and rubber grip. I used Johnson's Paste Wax. But any carnauba wax should work. Use a toothpick to keep amounts of wax applied very thin. Lightly wax the sides of the grip frame, the bottom strap, and the front strap. The large pins on the bottom strap need some wax to ease assembly of rubber grip to grip frame. But no wax on the back strap. This needs to be kept dry.
Put on the stirrup and pin, and it will move smoothly on the waxed bottom strap. Then follow instructions on connecting the rubber grip to the grip frame. The grip will move smoothly onto the waxed sides and straps of the grip frame into position. When grip "stops" in its final position, hold firmly and line up the screw to the stirrup screw hole. Start screw into "stirrup" very gently at first. Make sure screw is engaging properly, not pointed crookedly, possibly damaging screw thread. Stirrup may need to be shifted slightly for proper position. If screw is going in straight and smoothly, tighten slowly and gently, until a slight "stop" is felt. See if grip is firmly positioned, not "wiggling". Then tighten sli...
