Just an update on my previous review. I thought my glass was defected until I took the dot outside and it was clear as day.

If you buy the green dot, the glass might look purple and distorted when in your home under a yellow light.

The sight itself is great! This is my first red dot on a pistol, and I am very happy with it. I am cross eye dominant and having a red dot makes it much easier to shoot with both eyes open. I really like the multiple reticle options. Currently, I have it set with both the 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle -- I think this is great setup for home defense / concealed carry. The dual reticle also helps you find the reticle when presenting the firearm; this is particular useful for individuals who may be new to red dot sights on pistols. Additionally, I really like the solar panel, which enables the sight to run even if the battery is dead, and the shake-awake technology. The benefits to the shooter that the extended battery life Holosun achieves by utilizing these features should not be underestimated. Many red dot sights, like this one, require you to remove the sight from the slide to change the battery. Doing so means you have to reinstall and re-zero the sight. Because of the extended battery life that this Holosun offers, this is much less of a concern. (Note: The new version of the Holosun 507c addressed this concern further by relocating the battery to the side of the sight; however, many other brands still have the battery located on the underside of the sight and offer drastically less battery life.) I have run Trijicon RMRS in the dirt and dust and cleaned off with sweatshirt with never scratching the lens. I cleaned my new optic after a day of shooting after cleaning my Glock, with a lens cleaner cloth and it scratched the lens in 3 places!

I love everything about the optic but was really let down that I have a scratched lens on my beloved daily carry.

I finally got a chance to install this Holosun HE507C-GR onto one of my rifles today and I noticed the glass is distorted with a reddish purple glass... I personally own 3 of these reddots but the one opticsplanet sent me has a messed up glass.

3 different red dot settings to choose from. Easy to zero in but in dim lighting the red dot is somewhat hard to see. Other than that it’s one of the best optics for the value, price, and ease of use.

Excellent value and optic. Had it mounted on a custom slide cut and have fired 300 rounds of 9mm with no change in zero. This optic is an excellent training tool to perfect your trigger pull since movement causing alignment change is instantly seen while shooting. For 60 year old plus eyes it is much faster to obtain a site picture with.

Had this for a couple months but with the ranges being closed I finally got out and sighted it. I have it on top a G18 MOS. The dot is easy to find and kept its zero after 100 rounds, I expect to take it out a couple more times this month to make sure the holster draw. I did have to use 2 mounting spacers but I think that was due to the screws that came with the spacer. For the price I would purchase again.

After trying a few different Micro Red Dots and finding the learning curve to be a little tough to "find the dot", I was encouraged by a friend to try the 507c due to the "circle dot" reticle. Let me tell you, it makes a HUGE difference if you are just learning or relearning having that big 65 moa circle rather than a 2 moa dot hiding just out of the field of view! I installed it on my new CZP10C and I've run about 750 rounds through it and it works like a dream. This little red dot is a game changer!!!

Like the rest of their products, this holosun sight works great. It come with two different sized screws, which is very useful whenever you are mounting it to an RMR cut slide. The shake to wake feature is perfect, and the auto darkening works well.

Literally no complaints at all. The option of the 3 different settings is great. The different brightness settings is awesome especially when the sun is bright out. I would definitely recommend and buy again.
