Very good for felling trees
This is a good quality felling axe. I expect it will last a lifetime if cared for properly. I have two other Hults Bruk axes from their premium line, the Almike and the Aneby. It's a chopper and lessons fatigue.
Great large felling axe. Not as quite heavy as a competition felling axe but take take down large tries. Its ergonomics handle lessons fatigue and allows for accurate swing. Tbe Merican hickory handle grain is poisoned properly. Axe head is solid after hard use and the edge is well capable of felling without sharpening.
Pros:
- Very comfortable and accurate cuts. Solid price and quality
Cons:
- Not sure I can find one yet
Best Used for:
- Felling medium to large trees.
Would recommend: Yes
It's a chopper!
Axes can either sit in a garage and wait for a camping trip or yard work. But this axe was meant to be put to serious use every day. Its balanced very well, Has a desired head shape for serious timbering and has a very solid handle. Hunts bruk has always been my preferred brand for a chopper. It works where many ha e failed.
Pros:
- Fair Cost for a super quality axe
Cons:
- Not made in USA
Best Used for:
- Medium to large timber
Would recommend: Yes
