Great multi use ear buds with solid hearing protection
I wanted a bluetooth compatible ear pro to use on the range when I'm practicing/training alone.
I like being able to pre-record various range commands and strings of fire then play them to dictate my target engagement. It is also nice to listen to music when you are setting up/breaking down the range.
But you should always retain the ability to hear what is going on around you. I also wanted ear plugs because I dislike using over the ear muffs with rifles and shotguns.
So the Caliber BT seemed to fit that role for me. I ended up finding out several other activities where I like to use them also.
They are great at the gym and while riding my motorcycle. They stay securely but comfortably in my ear thanks to the wide assortment of tips included (make sure to roll and compress the foam before inserting into your ear) and they allow me to listen to music with great quality while still being attuned to the ambient noises of the environment. It is helpful to be able to hear other people in the gym and it is crucial to be able to hear others on the road.
The charge on the plugs and the case lasts for a reasonable amount of time. Easy to use but you do need to make sure the plugs seated properly in the case before closing or they wont charge. The plugs fit comfortably in my ear and dont move, even when removing my helmet.

Isotunes after 2 weeks
Needed new earbuds and these offered hearing protection along with sound amplification and listening to music at the gym. Haven't tested the shooting capabilities as we are still in fire restrictions. Music sounds as good as any decent pair of earbuds. Sound amplification is ridiculous. Bathroom fan 60 ft. Away sounded like a waterfall. Pretty sure I can now track a Bigfoot next hunting trip. Will post pics.

great ear protection
These are amazing i conditioned w new rifle and scope. I shot 30 times the protectorsled. No where do they tell you they amplify sound so it sounds like white noise sometimes. That is OK as sun as you shoot they kill around

I shoot a lot of rifles and shotguns, and the large over-the-ear hearing protection types are always annoying when I place my chick on the stock because the stock moves them, which makes one of the ears not protected. These earbuds changed the game for me. They are small to carry and work fine in terms of noise suppression. They come with all the different types of attachments to make it the perfect fit. the OPMOD version of these is identical in terms of quality and features, just different colors, and MUCH more affordable.

There are two problems with these earbuds.
1. While they do block high intensity sounds as per their specifications, they inconsistently amplify normal level sounds--cutting in and out frequently. This has been a problem right out of the box.
2. Manufacturer claims the battery lasts approximately 13 hours on a full charge. Reality is that a full charge permits no more than 2 hours of use.

Super comfortable, super effective
Work as well as foam in-ear plugs, ambient noise is natural sounding. Very comfortable. If I'm not wearing a mask or hood, (basically as long as no clothing rubs against the outside of the plugs) I have forgotten that I was wearing them. And as a bonus, they Bluetooth to your phone. My only regret is not buying them sooner.

Too much back round sound. total fail on hearing while being protected
Although they will protect your hearing, they don't work for hearing while they are in. Too much back round is magnified and it doesn't maintain consistency. Regular old wax or rubber twist in hearing protection wouldn't be much worse. I do not recommend these.

Great sound amplification
I have never used the type of noise canceling earbuds, but they seem to work very well. The noise amplification makes everything seem like it’s right next to you. Plus, being able to have a conversation at the same time is really great. Muffles crack of the rifle pretty decently. Shooting a 308 and a 556 without suppressors.
