Fixed my Cycling issues!
My Gen 1 DPMS-style AR-10 would not cycle reliably, period. Messed with gas, messed with buffers, chamber polishing, etc. A friend read an article about AR-10 cycling issues written by a retired USMC armorer who came to the conclusion that with no mil-spec the AR-10 is hard to build and get running smoothly on a budget. He recommended an upgraded extractor. Installed this extractor and viola! Rifle cycles much better now!
Another Quality JP Enterprise Product
Top notch quality good to replace broken or poor quality extractor. Replaced on another manufacturer's bolt which was causing extraction problems. Corrected the issue and have the rifle cycling with no issues.
Pros:
- Good quality and price
Cons:
- None

Extraction woes
Brand new BCG for new AR10 build would not extract at all. Rather than spring for a new BCG or bolt, I opted to buy the JP Enterprises enhanced extractor for a fraction of the cost of a new bolt/BCG. It works flawlessly and is well worth $60.00.

JP 6.5 Grendel Extractor
I used this extractor to replace a badly milled Lefthand BCA extractor. I wasn't sure it would work on a lefthand bolt, and I couldn't get an answer from the Q&A area, so I took my chances and ordered one. It does work for Lefthand bolts as well. I will continue to order these for my lefthand 6.5 Grendel bolts as JP does not make a Lefthand bolt for a 6.5 as far as I know. I would Highly recommend this part to all Lefty's looking for a high-quality extractor.
Pros:
- Better accuracy
- Works with both LH and RH bolts
- Great quality and standards
- Comes with the spring and O-rings
- Better Extraction
- Mates well with barrel extension
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- performance
- All Grendels

JP Enterprises Extractor
My Bear Creek extractor failed after 6 rounds. I bought this one since it was developed to solve the problem of 6.5 Grendel extractor failures and was made with a better steel. Replaced the old with the new and the rifle ran fine.Thank goodness someone decided to "fix the problem" and not just mail replacement parts!

Extractor replacement
well designed. Durable and solved my fte cycling issues. Jp enterprises went above and beyond with this extractor. I had my Bear Creek side charging Bcg extractor swapped out. This was a perfect fit. Should fit on any milspec Bcg chambered for 6.5 Grendel(type 2)

Perfect fix for my bad extractor
I was having extraction issues and this was the perfect fix. The spent rounds would only eject part of the time. Did some research and determined it was most likely a bad extractor. Was recommended to the Jp Enterprises extractor and it was a godsend. Quick easy install and works like a dream. Highly recommend.

Works great and is properly machined
Most extractors I've seen for 308 ARs (and 556 for that matter) don't have very distinct channels cut into the extractor claw. That means they don't get a really good grip on the case rim and that can cause them to slip off. The JP extractor is very nicely machined and has a deep, properly machined channel across the entire width. I've never had any extraction issues after switching to it.
