No it's not a brace. It is a blade. Does everything stated, is adjustable, is lightweight and streamlined. Handles everything out should on a pistol. Not made for shouldering. Tests against the forearm in pistol firing formation. Used many for lower budget pistol build for people, no issues. If you want a brace, find a brace.
Cons:
- None in accordance to its function

great pistol brace to replace non adjustable models The adjustment lever could be a little longer, but thats my only complaint. Still adjusts easily once you get the hang of it. Feels ok on the shoulder with my 9mm upper

I love the original KAK brace and still use one. However the 2.0 gives these a whole new level of fun. The adjustability is really a plus if you like or want that feature. Yes, there is a little ( very little ) looseness but that is to be expected. It no more loose than a standard collapsible stock. In fact I use one on a rifle build as well as the pistol because I like a lightweight no frills stock on a carbine. Get some of these while you can : )
Pros:
- Quality
- flexability of use
Best Used for:
- any AR you want, pistols or even rifles

Very unhappy with the Shockwave 2.0. It's uncomfortable and worst of all, it feels hokey and rattles, due to the lack of quality. I would highly recommend spending a little more and get a Tailhook or SB Tactical's SBA3 pistol brace.

I went with recommendations from websites and reviews stating this would be a great ar pistol brace... boy am I disappointed. I should have done my own research in my build but I cut corners on this one. Easy to install, simple and is usable. However, this brace cuts into your arm with the plastic and had very little/poor shock absorption. All in all, not a great product.

Everything was just as expected, the only thing that I noticed was the sliding of the blade is very stiff. From what I understand it eases up after more use. I wasn't sure about the product when I ordered it and the first time I ordered the wrong product and there was no problem canceling and reordering

When I built my pistol I was thinking I wouldn’t want one of these. After a trip to the range and using it and needing more of a check weld to get a good view through my holo I ordered this. Installation was a snap and it is just what I needed.
Pros:
- good price
- Just works
- complete kit
Cons:
- No need for the spring and buffer
- Wanted a different end plate

Slim and sturdy design. Purchased for my Ruger 10/22 build, and it served it’s purpose. The brace was sturdy, yet not uncomfortable. Would recommend to anyone considering a build of any type. It is lightweight and adds mobility to a set up. I also have this installed on my AR-15 pistol build. As of right now, I would agree that it is the best brace on the market

For the price, this is a winner. Well made, nice fit and finish. The brace to buffer tube fit is not bad at all. Same feel as my factory Colt (carbine) CAR-15. Read some reviews about people tinkering with it to make it fit snug. Adding tape, Velcro, etc.. Not needed and not a good idea. BATFE approved it to be used as a BRACE as is... If you are doing some crazy once in a lifetime build, you may want to spend a little more. If you are building an everyday shooter this will do anything you need. Knowing the buffer, spring, etc are matched and will fit is an added bonus.
Best Used for:
- building a shooter grade pistol

I own 4 of these...they are good...solid product...make sure you get the protector to keep dirt from getting inside the buffer tube...will probably buy another one for my next build...they make a mini blade as well...
