Don't waste money
Just paint your stock front sight red and save the money. The profile doesn't fit an AK sight tool, so risk damaging the fiber rod. I took mine out to change the rod, and one of the threaded halves broke off. I'm past return date, so I'm throwing this out and putting the stock sight back on with...

Kesight Ak 47 Front post
Sight worked as expected, quality great. Easy to install.

Ak fiber optic front sight
Seems to be made well and fit my AK. It will also work on a PSL 54C type rifle. You have to place the fiber optic rod in the slot then use a lighter to melt the ends a little so the rod will stay in place. Easy to do.
Best Used for:
- AK-47/74, PSL 54C

Kensight AK Fiber Optic Font Site Post Insert
Received this sight last week, Went to install, no tools included, no instructions, for sight, or fiber optic stick installation, Tried to insert sight, one of the sides of the threaded portion snapped like a piece of glass.
I would not recommend this sight. INSTEAD....
A small piece of clear fuel line from RC planes fuel line, clean post with alcohol, cut 1/2 the length of the post. It fits snug, use tooth pick with the color of enamel you choose and carefully dab the right amount, not to much, two coats may be needed, leave clear tubing helps transmit light,
I am out 40.00 plus ship.....

Promising but Junk
One of the threaded halves broke off about 3 turns on the installation. Does not fit the conventional AK sight tools. Also the fiber rod slides in and out freely. Not sure how it's supposed to stay in place. Possibly melt the ends? Epoxy? I will never know.

Kensigtht Ak Fiber Optic Sight
I purchased the Kensight AK Fiber Optic Front and Rear sight for my Century RAS 47. The installation was easy and every thing went right. I used the red inserts, and it certainly made it easier for my eyes. Sight adjustment was just like the original AK and with a few turns it was hitting correctly. With care, and some protection, the sight will serve well, but it will not take the abuse and hard field test. I will purchase another one for my second AK.
