I installed this front sight post on a set of Troy Industries BattleSight, Rear Folding Sight, Di-Optic Aperture; Front Tactical w/M4 Style Housing. Diamond peep with white tick marks at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. M4, M14, M1 Garand, etc. classic style sight post protection. This combination makes sight alignment extremely straightforward. Enhance Your MBUS Front Sight

by Mequon-Mike, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on August 21, 2021
The crosshairs on the front sight are so fine that they won’t cover up the center of your target @ 100improves target acquisition because it’s more intuitive to be “between the crosshairs” than it is to be “ on top of the post”. You cannot use your AR-15 front sight tool because it’s too wide to fit inside the tube.
Pros:
  • good looking
  • Faster Target Acquisition
Cons:
  • Difficult installation
Would recommend: Yes

Nifty Front Sight for AR-15

by Mequon-Mike, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on June 18, 2021
I replaced the front post on my MBUS polymer sights with this item. You cannot use the AR Front Sight Adjustment Tool because it won’t fit inside of it. You have to push on the spring lock with a punch, and twist it your fingers. Don’t use pliers or you’ll break it. The cross hairs are very delicate— you don’t want to touch them.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Difficult to install
