Good Sharpener, with a few tips
This is a very good knife sharpening system, IF you know how to use it. I recommend you watch the youtube video by Gough Custom. It is the best instructional video for this kit I have seen. I recommend this kit. I use it on my high quality kitchen knives. The result is just as good, if not better than sending them off to be professionally sharpened. Here is a downside, if you sharpen only one of your kitchen knives you will become disgusted with the dullness of all the other kitchen knives. Works great
This will get your a razor edge. Follow the instructions. You will need the stand to hold the clamp. Buy one one or make your own like I did. The diamond hones cut allot faster than the standard stones.

Definitely lives up to the hype.
Not much more to say - this is the real deal and it lives up to the hype. Very definitely worth the investment. Also, if you want to proceed to scary, supernatural sharp, Lansky makes a couple of extra stones of higher grit than included in these kits and they will put an edge on your blades that you would not believe possible.
