I'm not sure of what has happened to Lantac over the past couple of years. Ive purchsed several of their muzzle devices with no issues also an enhanced bolt carrier group that they havent had on the shelf in well over a year. Ive always appreciated the engineering and quality that went into their products. That being said, i just recieved a dragon quickmount for a Gemtech that didnt pass through any sort of quality control. Doesnt mount up at all to my suppresor as the lugs are completly symmetrical and machined incorrectly. A 2 second in process function check would have found this issu...

Lantac Dragon GemTech Quick Mount 5/8 x 24 Muzzle break
Several issues with this break.
1.) The matting shoulder on this is very narrow, when trying to time the break so it was in the correct position the shims would skirt out. Had to machine the Shoulder to give it a wider area to mate up with the rifle barrel.
2.) Attached my Gem Tech Quick Sand suppressor. First time I fired it I was hit with a considerable amount of Blowback coming from around the break, I checked the suppressor to verify it was on correctly, it was. This was not a good thing. I believe the gas was coming from where the Wrench Flats are located. There needs to be more of a continuous shoulder before going to the wrench flats. This was when I used it on a 6.5 x 284 Norma, haven't tried it on lower calibers. It could be from so much gas from the slots in the break coming back toward the barrel end.
Positive Note: When used by itself it reduces recoil considerably!
Will update when tried with other calibers using the suppressor.

Product does not fit Gemtech be suppressor
Muzzle device does not fit gemtech bi lug suppressors as advertised. Lugs are symmetrical in size when they are required to have two separate sizes to locate the gemtech correctly. I have an older generation, 7 years old or so,and it fits perfectly. Newer iyerations, I have reordered twice from several vendors, have the same defect. Do not recommend if you plan on using for a suppressor host.

Does not fit Gemtech
While this does seem to be a quality made product with lots of technology built into it it does not do the one thing it is supposed to. Both lugs are the same size, IT WILL NOT FIT A GEMTECH SUPPRESSOR. I should have read the reviews carefully. One could make it work, but as expensive as it is for what it is it should be better than perfect. Definitely disappointed in Optics Planet, customers have made the problem known yet you still sell the defective product. A quick internet search revealed that the problem was not exclusive and that an inventory audit could resolve the problem.

awesome performer
performs like a dream on my AR10. Easy timing, recoil Killer, follow up shots are crisp
