Excellent compact light/laser combo!
I received the Spartan quickly from Optics Planet. This is an awesome little device. I have it attached to the rail on my Sig Sauer P226 Scorpion. It fits well, and appears to be very solidly mounted. The green laser is very bright and easy to see in daylight and darkness. The flashlight portion isn...

Lasermax light and laser combo unit called spartan-adjustable-fit green or red laser.
The Laser worked fine until after running 4 or 5 magazines full of .40cal. Ammo through the gun to fine tune the sight in process. After which the Laser began to shut itself off randomly after each shot,5 or 6 moreally shots and the Laser would shut itself off before the next shot could be taken, th...

Laser & Light Combo
I have had LaserMax products in the past and have not been disappointed. This is a great unit. Very compact, light, and well made. The ambidextrous switches are convenient and intuitive and the power source is not some difficult to find button battery but rather a AAA alkaline battery that are available everywhere. Great job LaserMax!
Pros:
- price and performance
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- handgun
Would recommend: Yes
Better for airsoft
The laser cuts off and moves when used on any caliber bigger than .22 lr. Would not recommend to someone to use for serious applications.
Pros:
- green laser
Cons:
- shifts-slightly with force
- Turns off
Best Used for:
- Airsoft

Lazermax light combo
Works good nice and compact. Light could be brighter. Fast shipping and seems like quality product. Great for pistols and sub compact frames. The line green light is nice on the eyes.Works on anything with rail. Like the on off buttons.

Perfect laser/light
I love lasermax products. This laser/light combo is perfect for the rail on my Springfield 9mm pistol. Once I dialed it in, it stayed very accurate, stays right on target. Can’t go wrong with a green laser, bright as can be on a sunny day, and the light is super bright. I would recommend this product for anyone who needs or wants to take away the guesswork. I won’t use the laser very often when shooting for fun, but if there’s ever the situation where the laser takes away any era, when you might really need it, rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

Spartan LaserMax Combo
Thiis is my second Spartan LaserMax light. The red laser is least likely to give away your location because it’s not as bright as the green laser. Your can adjust the reach for either your thumbs or index finger distance to conform to your comfort & reach distance. The switches are tactile and deliberate. Ease of use will never disappoint. So far my Glock is still holding zero about 7 months ago.
Pros:
- Easily aquires
- Easily squires target
Cons:
- Light needs to be jLE
- Light needs to be LED with more lumens
Best Used for:
- Home Defense

Pros:
- Paddle Actuation
Cons:

Acceptable If You're On A Budget
Over the years, I've purchased two of these and over time, I've grown to not like them. I like the compact form of the unit and the aesthetic design of the unit, but this product has some major drawbacks.
1) The battery life is subpar. It's great that the unit takes AA batteries, but the battery life is terrible. I wouldn't go more than 6 months without replacing the battery, if you just leave it in the safe. If you plan on using the unit, don't expect to get more than 3 months out of the battery. What you save in initial cost, you'll pay for in batteries down the road.
2) The mounting system isn't ideal. You have to dismount the unit and basically split the unit in half to swap the battery, and while I've never noticed a shift in zero after remounting the unit, it's extremely inconvenient, given how often that you have to replace the battery. It would have been nice if they had designed the unit to where you could twist off the end of the battery compartment and pop out the battery to replace it, rather than having to remove the mounting screws and open one side of the unit.
3) The light output is subpar. I think this unit is acceptable for someone who's only planning on using it indoors and within 10-12 yards in a VERY low-light to no light environment. Outside of those parameters, the laser is fine, but the light is useless. If there is any light on in a room other than the light on this unit, then the light on this unit will be useless; there has to be pretty much no l...

I have candles that put out more light
The light is a joke, totally worthless, The green laser on the other hand is a decent functional unit.
Anything over 20' away the laser will light up better than the light. I guess I misread the light output, I thought it was 1200, not 120.
