Nice Looking, Sturdy Front Sight
I bought both this Low Profile one and also a high profile version. The measurement from the base to the tip of the sight post as shipped was 1.4" The high profile version was 1.6" The Low profile one lined up perfectly with the A3 style detachable rear carry handle/sight.
My front sight post adju...

Does NOT work with aftermarket posts
Sight is durable and easy to install. I purchased it for my very first AR build and it worked well up until I decided to make some upgrades. Unfortunately someone made the terrible design choice to offset the detent at an angle to left. Why this was done I have no idea since even milspec front sight...

Awesome fixed sight!
The title says “deployable” but obviously, from the pic, it’s a fixed sight. This is exactly what I was looking for. So far it’s held up great and looks pretty good on my PCC build.

UTG low profile front sight.
I love it personally. Great low profile, very sturdy. Not too tall not too short, it’s the Goldilocks porridge for me.
Pros:
- profile
- stabile as a tank
- Size & Height
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Back up irons
Would recommend: Yes

Good product
Light weight and seems very durable. Double duty as an over-the-top thumb stop. I've been liking the recent products from Leapers. Great for constant co-witness or if you just don't need to flip down sights to get them out of your way.

great value
If you don’t have Daniel defense money this my go to for most my rifles great quality sturdy stays accurate Few courses dedicated truck gun for over year never had an issue very happy buying another one
Very important thier is 2 different heights one for traditional flat top and one for 1/4” stepped down gas block get right height or be unhappy
As stated in another review post is not interchangeable but we always filed them down personally

Outstanding for the price
The UTG front fixed sight is better then expected. The low profile is a perfect fit for platforms with no optics. Fit, finish and looks.. in my opinion are nicer then most sight that are x3 as much. Solid piece of aluminum.
Pros:
- Cheap for the quality
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Open sight guns
Would recommend: Yes
A call back for the modern era
This is a great fixed front sight that takes up little to no space and works great with an rear sight you have regardless of brand or position. The metal is a strong and light aluminum that weighs little to nothing on your weapon. I currently have the front and rear sight that go well together
Pros:
- Build & Price
Cons:
- None for me
Best Used for:
- Best used with the utg slim fixed rear sight
Would recommend: Yes
Great Product
This sight is a great addition to any rifle 1913 picatinny rail. Two different heights available allow for co-witness with red dot optics. They work great as stand-alone or back up options. Pair this with either another fixed or folding rear sight for a solid sighting solution.
Pros:
- Asthetically Pleasing
- easy to install
- Practical and tactical
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting
- sport
- Target shooting
Would recommend: Yes
Light, Slim, Effective, Awesome for the price
I bought a set of front/rear sights just for a handy option for having those very classic and versatile A2 style sights for at least one of my rifles, and honestly I really like these.
They are very light and slim, and the flush screw for attaching is WAY preferred compared to the huge knobs on other sights like the milspec.
The only possible downside is be careful about over tightening the screws. They can get pretty darn stuck. Maybe oil/clean up the threads a bit first. Or just never remove them. I had to fight with my torx set to loosen these up once torqued down.
All considered, these are awesome.
