Another Win!
I just added the Recon 360 to UTG's drop in rail on my stock MP 10 and I can't imagine higher quality components for the money.I used the Recon for the first time at the range and it performed as expected. The thing I loved best was that it felt like the variable tension ball joint helped manage som...

Good price but some key functions missing ...,..
This bipod has some neat features but in my opinion is missing some more important functions I find on my more expensive model. The ball swivel construction is neat and allows can't correction AND tracking. It will go straight on to a picatinny rail. The price point is easy to overcome. The over...

Best Value on the Market Today
This Bipod is incredible. I was afraid I would need to spend a large amount of money on an Atlas, but this bipod does everything I need. I have it mounted on a ORYX chassis and it performs flawlessly. Very ruggedly built.
Pros:
- value
- Capabities
- Build construction
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- hunting
- long range applications
- Target shooting

good to go
Not much into bipods so bought a few cheaper ones to get a feel and this one worked out well sofar. Pretty compact, seems well made and stable to shoot and easy to install. What more do you want? It swivels to get you the righ angle easily. the only con I could really say is that it takes two steps per leg to setup and the first step (flipping the leg out) button is a bit tight. But as I said, otherwise I have no complaints and am quite happy with this one.
Pros:
- Cheap
- EASY INSTALL
- stable
- Seems well made
Cons:
- None

Feature packed good value bipods
I first bought the smallest version of this bipod, and liked it so much, I bought one each of the two larger sizes, so I now own one of each of these bipods in each of the sizes offered by UTG. I move them around between my FN15, DSA Arms SA58 FAL, Radical Firearms AR7.62, Excel Arms AR57, Bushmaster AR57, and Ruger PCC9.
I really like the simplicity but feature-packed design. The detent release and lock knob for the leg extensions work really nice and have a very positive tactile engagement. I really like the swivel and tilt features in the attachment point. I have a minor complaint, though, regarding the leg deployment buttons, which allow you to rotate the legs to 5 different positions across 180 degrees. The functionality is great, the buttons are a bit difficult to operate quickly, especially when wearing gloves. I opted for this design, though, because I didn't want the complication and snag points of competing products that use external springs.
The two larger models are my favorite, the small one is REALLY short...I can really only use it on the Bushmaster AR57 (due to its top-mounted PS90 magazine) and the PCC9 (but only when using the 10 round mags). The other guns have mags that are really too long to use with the short bipod. The biggest version has no trouble dealing with the punishment dished out by the FAL. All in all, these are really nice bipods, especially for the price.

Great for the price
Has a lot of features you want in a bipod. Get the long one as the shorter ones cant really shoot up with a 30 round mag in the gun. It doesn't have a quick deploy feature which makes it slow and awkward to deploy when on a range and trying to keep muzzle in a safe direction as the pivot is fairly stiff. For its price this is about as good as it gets though.
Pros:
- Price

- Range use

These things are great.
You can spend $300.00 plus on a bipod. But I'd rather buy powder, primers and bullets. These things are great!!!! I have four of them now and still haven't spent $300.00. I've got one of those high priced units and in comparison I would say,, "save your money". The expensive ones are nice and it's fun to show them off to your friends, especially if they can't afford one. But. Since I've stuck these on my guns, there's no need to spend the extra money...

Review of UTG Heavy Recon 360 Bipod
Works well! Able to connect to my bayonet lug with an adapter. A high quality piece that is Built well! Excellent for leisure shooting, not for rapid deployment situations. The ability to swivel and cant makes this item extremely flexible

Well made unit. Good price
The only problem is the legs are so tight you can barely move them. I bought 2 of these and haven’t received the second yet. You would think that simply backing off the Allen screw would fix the problem, however I bent my Allen wrench trying. I am going to try a socket style Allen. If successful I would give it 5 stars.

Heavy Duty
Very heavy duty bipod with an easy installation. It has a slim profile so you can take it hunting or its easy to take to the range. I have used it on my Ruger Precision Rimfire and my AR. It is solid enough to withstand larger calibers too. Plus it looks great.

Bipod works well
Takes a little adjusting when compare with other higher priced models. Legs have to be individually adjusted. One has to adjust each leg. I liked the way it pivots easily. Attaches to a rail easily too. Overall, pretty good. Stability was great. I would get another one if I needed one.
