This item has no focus or parallax adjustment. I bought one for an AR. I tested it in a field with an 1200 yard depth in mid afternoon, on an overcast day, typical for my state during hunting season. Using a Sig range finder I checked it at numerous ranges. The reticle is small but very sharp and the glass very bright. The scope was badly out of focus up to at 300 yards looking at a tree stump. It was better but not great at 500 yards looking at a wood pile. From 500 to 745 yards it had the same problem it did up to 300 yards. There was very little definition looking at a large barn at 745 yards. I know the DEVO is only ranged per the reticle up to 600 yards.
I thought maybe I needed new eyeglasses or had some sudden deterioration in my eyesight, and made sure I did not get a Chinese knockoff. I then compared it to their Mark 4 and then their cheapest 2 x 7 scope that cost $200 for a .22 rifle. I set both at 6 power. I could count the shingles on a garage roof at 135 yards with either one. With the DEVO I could not see any shingles or lines on the same roof at the same distance. Leupold's $200 scope was infinitely sharper than the $1,000 DEVO. I called Leupold to see if there was a recall but after waiting long to speak to anyone I hung up and sent an email to the service address they provided. Quite surprising, they never responded. I then tried another DEVO and found the same problem. After that I returned it. All in all, this is quite disappointing. E...

The one feature that no-one comments on from the lack of experience is the thermal mirage factor that happens during a real bang bang fight about 75 hot rounds in. Three seconds wasted could cost you your bro life especially if you're supposed to his back. The DEVO takes you around mirage of the heated barrel. The red dot will get you started but DEVO keeps you in the fight until barrel cools down enough to re acquire/re engage objective. Keep your eyes on target, you can't fight what you can't see.

This thing is awesome. I like oddball optics, some work, others not so much, this thing works!!! It's pretty cool to not have to switch from 1x to 6x manually like a normal scope. With this, you just move your eye, not your head and dont break contact with the rifle. I'm suprised the military doesnt use these, as you could definitely see the way it speeds up your shooting from low mag to higher, while keeping your peripherals and awareness intact. The only thing I would say, is you NEED to have good consistent cheek weld (which you should have anyways), and it has to be pretty far back-not much eye relief. But it's worth it once you understand these quirks and is fast and clear once used to it. Another bonus for it is that it can be "slaved" to any other sight on any rifle, it doesnt NEED to be behind a red dot, if you have irons, this will still work. If irons are zeroed, then you can zero this to those and so on, if it's set stable at one point/target. It would also work for say if you had a 20x scope and had room to put this behind it, youd have a 20x and 6x, or a thermal and this behind it, its versatile. Or stand alone. I thought for some reason it HAD to be with a red dot, it does not. Can be used alone, as long as it has room and can look along the side of the other optic, if its tall enough.
Pros:
- Rugged build
- Fast magnification
- More useful than a red dot magnifier
- Light weight for what it is
- Good reticle, useful but not overly complicated
- Can be slaved to other sights, so useful on many platforms if they already have a sight with a zero
Cons:
- Pricey, worth it, but pricey
- Low eye relief, think Trijicon touchy
Best Used for:
- Tactical
- Competition Shooting
- Hunting, especially thick brush and clearings
- If speed is a concern, far to short distances
- Multiple platforms, especially AR types

Hard to appreciate until you mount it and use. Have it paired with a Leupold LCO on an RDB. Does what it says perfectly. It is certainly not cheap, but certainly something to save up for and ultimately something you will not regret trading green paper for. Moreover, the one I got from OP was a factory demo that saved a touch over 300$.

I love this Leupold D-Evo 6x20mm. It's a bit old, but still serve its purpose. Great alternative for Magnifier Scope. It's not the cheapest, but for the price, there's always other magnifier scope that's cheaper. With this scope, it's quality made and minimize switching object. It's lightweight, won't add lbs to the existing rifle weight.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Quality
- Functionality
- Alternative Magnifier

Bought the lco in January and I liked, I decided to take a chance and spend the money on the d evo worth every penny easy hits on steel out to the six hundred we have at our local range. Windage was no problem with the ten and 20 mph marks even Ranging is accounted for with the mil scale

I purchased this with an LCO red-dot sight. I love the combination, both optics are phenomenal and work nicely together. Initially, I did not like the offset look and did not consider it when outfitting a new AR platform with an optic. When I made a list of what I wanted: a) 1x red dot that is bright and large window for quick acquisition of a target and near work; b) 6-9x magnification for further targets and just fine-tuning medium range targets; c) that they both work together nicely. I realized that I wanted to be able to acquire the target rapidly and then immediately use the magnification "to get up close and personal" with the target. The Leupold LCO with D-EVO is the perfect combo for what I wanted. It is the ideal combination for near work, mid-range & moderate-long range for my AR platform. The combination is so easy to use, I do not have to break cheek-weld or change my position--just acquire the target with the red-dot and then look slightly down to make fine adjustments. It is so intuitive and easy to use. The D-EVO is bright and has a nice reticle. The only two things that I could find fault with are: the white lettering all over it, I wish it came in a blacked out version like my LCO. Also, the offset is a bit unusual looking on the right side of my rifle. I am used to having Dueck RTS offset sights on my other AR (with a 3-9 power scope that stays set between 6 and 8) and so am used to some bulk on the right side, but the scope is unusual enough lookin...

I love this thing, it works great. Don't have to change sight profile at all. Placed it on my AR-15 with a EOtech red dot. it looks like it would be compatible with most red dots as well. It is kinda strange to get used to at first but you'll get the hang of it.

This sight is incredible for the pricing you are getting a great performance package, you have to shot it to appreciate it. I recommend this purchase. The hit ratio on target at 600 yards is am a amazing, the built-in range finder add to thensure value.
