I mounted this on a Smith & Wesson 629 44 Magnum. This is turned out to be a great optic. The DeltaPoint has withstood The Recoil and has maintained its zero. Plus it's a nice compact design over a traditional scope. I would definitely buy this again.

I wish the Air Force would start using these instead of the M68 CCO (Aimpoint CompM2). This is the most durable and precise sight that I've used. The rating on the shock it can receive is unbelievable, and the glass seems nearly unscratchable. I have a hard time making the M68 work due to parallax issues, but I fire this off an 8 shot .357 Magnum and it is flawless every single time.
Pros:
- Large view field
- unbreakable

I mounted the 3.5 deltapoint on my performance center m&p c.o.r.e 9mm with the plate supplied by s&w. Installion was easy. I sighted in at ten yards firing about 125 rounds just to find a preference where I wanted the dot located and co witnessing with the iron sights. Once I was pleased I went to 25 yards. First three shots in the bull. I was very happy as a 62 year wearing progressive glasses now I thought I never would have done that again. The only issue is like others have stated is the rear sight is in the way of the locking screws. I plan to do as one other reviewer did, heat and bend the t5 wrench to do this. I did not use the supplied wrench to adjust the sight but bought a screwdriver set from lowes which had a t5 bit.

If you don't have one you are missing the boat. Cut mu back to target time by more than 75%. Cowitnesses with my FNX 45 tactical. Love the auto on and off. I'm at least 15%more accurate. No more wasted time focusing on that front sight. I love it and it's worth Every dime I paid for it.

I am a huge Leupold fan/user and have several of their very fine scopes. The only reason I did not give this sight a five star rating are the silly little star wrenches that come with it. Because I was installing in a S&W C.O.R.E. pistol, the rear sight obstructed the locking screws and, avoiding having to uninstall and reinstall the sight in order to zero it, I broke the small wrench trying to bend it to shape. Leupold, however, was very good about replacing these and sending me a couple of extras. All of which is now academic because Leupold has come out with the new Deltapoint which does not have or need locking screws. I highly recommend this new Deltapoint sight over the original Deltapoint with locking screws.

I have purchased two of these sights and would have given them a 5 star rating but until I'm able to find out how to sight it in, I will hold back 1 star.
I thought when I purchased the Leupold, in reading the information that it had there was a grid on the lens, well that is not so, my misunderstanding. I have searched the web, unable to find much, lots of pictures and YouTube on shooting but nothing that I have found on how to sight it in. I'm guessing there is information, I simply have not found it yet. My question, it has a red dot, where do you align the red dot, to the front sight, when I looked at one shooting with the DeltaPoint 3.5 MOS, it looked like the person would pull the trigger about the time the red dot was somewhere in the middle of the lens, how reliable can that be? When you think it is in the middle. With the normal sights, you align the back sight to the front and then pull the trigger. Waiting on a response from both Leupold and Optics Planet to decide how I proceed.
I like the set up, and purchased the GLOCK G34, Gen 4 with MOS capability so I could mount the Leupold, I just need to find someone that says, this is the way you sight this in, here is where you place the dot, I'm thinking over the front sight, but not sure.

The Deltapoint is a sturdy amazing reddot as many other reviews suggest. The only problem i have as well as ithers is not with the sight but with the t5 torx it comes with. On my M&P Performance center you need to take the whole sight off to lock and unlock the screws unless you heat and bend the torx.

Received this sight, installed on S&W M&P CORE, sighted it in and went to 3-gun shoot. I liked not turning it off or on. Shot in shade and sunlight the red dot was crisp and clear at all times. Viewing through the eye piece was extremely easy. I have used two other brands and find this one my favorite.

I have many DeltaPoint, Trijicon, Cmore and Burris red dot sights mounted on both rifles and pistols. All have good and bad points. The DeltaPoint Reflex is a great choice for most shooters. My first experience with one was with the HAMR sight where the reflex is used in combination with a glass scope. For pistol use I like that they are light, compact and have a good clear lens that is a bit larger than the RMRs. The Auto on/off feature is great; convenient and extends battery life. The 3.5 MOA version for target or more precision and the 7.5 for quicker sight picture. I loved the All Mounts kit. Maybe a bit more fragile than the RMRs but the larger sight picture is the trade. I would not hesitate to recommend this optic.
Pros: larger field of vision, very clear, auto on/off, great mounting hardware
Cons: Not as rugged as the RMRs,

I have several issues with the sight. The first I received had a short in the circuitry and had to be removed. OpticsPlanet quickly turned around the replacement. The replacement image is not totally crisp. It was quick to zero, and held its zero through about 900 rounds of 9mm at a tactical course this past weekend. Two major problems surfaced. When moving and shooting fast, the sight was hard to acquire. Second and a major issues was that rain drops on the lens obliterate the triangle. It turned into a large irregular blob. Not good in a tactical environment.
Pros: Fairly easy to install once rear sight removed. Easy to zero
Cons: It is hard to acquire the triangle when shooting and moving. The biggest issue is shooting in the rain. Rain drops totally distort the dot image.
