Leupold Delta Point Reflex sight with cross slot mount 7.5 MOA delta
This optic was installed on a S&W 500 with a 8 3/8" barrel. I purchased a special Weaver style rail from Weigand which is machined from stainless steel and made specifically for this revolver. I bore sighted it myself for the tip of the delta at 25 yards & my first shot was 4" high & 2" to the left ...

Mr. Joe
THE DOT WENT OUT AFTER JUST FIRING 23 ROUNDS OF 9MM WINCHESTER 115 WHITE BOX LOADS ON MY GLOCK 17L. I'N SURE THAT LEUPOLD WILL TAKE OF IT UNDE THE WARRANTY. I WILL DO A FOLLOW UP REVIEW AFTER THEY RESOLVE THI PROBLEM.
Pros: LIFETIME WARRANTY NICE FEATURES
Cons: PRICEY UNRELIABLE
Will it fit the 940 pro tactical?
Looking at the mounts for Rmsc delta Points. They spec a length of 1.8" and the Mossbergs spec a 1.6" length. Holosun 507k has a 1.6" length. Hmm. Is there a way to shave a few tenths off this? Or do I have to buy a mounting plate. Seems like somebody got out maneuvered. I am a loyal Leupold customer, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some corporate level shenanigans going on. And Leupold is getting the short end of the stick. Not to mention the $125 price difference.

Fits M&P CORE
I have been using this for a few years and it still works great. The clarity and large viewing area is great for such a lightweight sight. I use this for 3 gun for quick acquisition of the targets and have been very pleased with it.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Wide Viewing Optic
Cons:
- hard to adjust
- Must remove to change battery
Best Used for:
- 3 gun

Does what it's suypposed to on my Anaconda
I mounted the Deltapoint 7.5 MOA on my Colt Anaconda .44 mag, 8" vented barrel and Picatinny rail. It adjusts easily, seems to hold adjustments well, and is "always on" when I need it. My hunting accuracy is much improved, and I'm quite happy with no. No complaints at all.

Deltapoint
Great optic. Easy to install and sight. Only hang up is lock down screws on back of sight... Iron sights of my C.O.R.E get in way of. But easy to rectify by not using tool supplied. Other than that... Am pleased as can be.

Great Optic After Return To Leupold
This is the third Deltapoint I've purchased. Each one had the same problem. The red dot would occassionally dim or disappear completely when firing a shot. On the next shot the red dot would reappear. I returned all three to Leupold for repair. Since they were repaired they have all functioned perfectly.
I prefer this red dot over any of the others. It's smaller, lighter, and has a larger window. The delta aiming point is quicker to find and more precise than a dot, IF you use the top of the delta as the aiming point.

Deltapoint 7.5
I have been watching for this item to come available for months. Finally I got to order one and it came defective from the factory and called Leupold and they were great. I sent it back to them and had it back just like they said. Put it on my M&P Pro CORE and it works GREAT

Failed in 1st 200 rounds
Mounted on S&W M&P C.O.R.E. 9mm 4.25 ported barrel. Failed during zero rounds at range intermittently, then failed completely. Sent back to Leupold, stay tuned. Also, the most unworkable "lock" system ever. To zero you must do the following:
1- lock the wind age & elevation with a torx wrench.
2- mount the sight on the gun.
3- Fire a group. Leupold warns Warning don't fire the gun unless locks are engaged
4- now, unmount the sight from the gun and unlock the windage & elevation. And adjust the w & e as per your group
5- guess how much to move the w&e, since there are no clicks in the screws
6- re lock the w&e, remount the sight on the gun and fire another group
7- repeat as needed til zeroed, and finally remount after locking, and hope it's still sighted in accurately.

Quality Leupold Optics
Bought this for mounting on a S&W M&P Pro CORE 9MM. After reviews of the several optics that the CORE supports I selected the Leupold DeltaPoint 7.5 MOA inscribed Delta. This Optics was very hard to find in stock. I had it backordered when I found available on Planet Optics for immediate purchase. Out of the box it appears to live up to Leupold's reputation for quality optics.
The reason I rated it only 4 stars is because I have yet to mount it awaiting a response from Leupold technical support on a question I have - the instructions specify tightening the lock screws to 4 inch pounds (max) with the supplied Torx wrench after zeroing the optics. After a couple of days of internet searching I cannot find a Torx Torque wrench that goes down to 4 in lbs at a reasonable price. Planet Optics carries a Wheeler product that goes down to 10 in lbs (2.5 times the max). I have suggested in my inquiry to Leopold that a reference to tightening the lock screws to 4 in lbs in their operating instructions is somewhat impractical for the average shooter who probably does not own expensive gunsmithing tools.

Leupold DeltaPoint Reflex sight
I bought this Leupold DeltaPoint reflex sight and mounted it on my Springfield Scout Rifle.
Mounting the sight was easy. When trying to adjust the tiny torx screws for elevation the dot would
hardly move down. I tried to go all the way up and then come down to sight in the rifle. The dot would
NOT move down. The torx wrench they supply is cheap and flimsy. The screws seem to be made of a cheap
soft medal and can be easily stripped.
I sent the reflex sight back to Leupold and I am waiting for their reply.

I would like a better built Deltapoint.
My concerns started with how it mounts to the pistol. It's not a solid or even strong mount on the gun. Then when u insert the battery into the sight and flip the sight over to mount on top of the provided baseplate, the battery is large enough to leave a well seen gap at the front and to the sides of the sight. It's just not a rock solid mount u think u would be getting from leupold. Then the actual red deltapoint reticle you would use as your sight is just terrible. While trying to a with it, the reticle seems to grow in size and then shrink. In layman's terms,,,, buy the simple3.5 Moa dot.
