I Love this little scope. The small design makes it much less beastly than its competitors. I went with the basic duplex sight. Paired with magpul 45 offset, makes the fact the scope has no 1x non relavent.I have an armasight spark 2 NVG with rail mount I click on in front and an inforce white/IR light and laser = instant night vision conversion.
With an Aero Precision ultra light mount this unit is extremely light. Love the Made in the USA etched in. Not made in China sticker.

I've got two Highpower seasons on my Mark AR and I'm completely satisfied with the performance of this scope. So much so, that I purchased a second one for my practice upper. They track beautifully, are very consistent, and the Firedot is visible under any and all conditions. Great value for those wishing to shoot within a budget. Lots of these on the line at Camp Perry, and for good reason.

No reason for 1.5 instead of 1 starting power, makes shooting with both eyes open a bit of a challenge.
Fat reticle.
Does not focus at close range.
I would recommend a Sig instead.
Have both of the other Mark AR MOD scopes and they are great.

This thing is awesome quality and amazingly clear. I had issue with the smaller diameter tube but this thing has great light transmission. It has a slight zoom at 1x but it doesn’t hinder your CQB distance shots.

I paid extra for the Firedot model. The base scope is solid with clear glass and positive feedback on the turret clicks. I also like the built-in BDC on the turret but in general prefer BDC reticles.
My review primarily focuses on Green firedot. It is bright enough for daylight and mine was centered correctly. However, the single push button/battery cap combo to control brightness and power is clunky. More importantly the pressure plate for the button often gets stuck preventing any adjustments. The only way to fix this is to unscrew the battery cap and screw it back on. I find that over or under tightening the battery cap contributes to the problem.
I took off a star for this reason and wouldn't recommend paying extra for a Firedot that has such questionable ergonomics.
Leupold by the way was more than willing to take it back for inspection and repair. However, I had already mounted and zeroed the scope and didn't want to deal with the hassle of remounting. I am doubtful they can rectify the poor design.
Cons:
- Firedot button poorly designed

I love this optic because of the clarity of glass and that it helps "correct" my astigmatism. I actually have given up on red dots due to my eyes!! The only thing I would love to have is if the turrents would be lockable.
Pros:
- Affordable
- Robust
- Exceptional Glass
Best Used for:
- CQB
- AR Platform
- Mid range engagement

If you're looking for a quality glass that weights next to nothing, you have found it. Crystal Clear, Green FireDot is easy to see and find. VERY HAPPY. I own a Vortex Strike eagle and this weighs half as much and I don't mind giving up the power because its so bright.

Recently purchased for use on my AR Pistol. Wow!! Never thought you could get such a great , clear, generous eye relief from such a small scope!! Light, rugged, easy to adjust & read turrets, fast target acquisition!! Looking to buy a few more in the very near future! Now prefer this scope over top brand Holographic WS, top choice Red Dots and very popular scope brands I’ve owned.
Pros:
- Solid contruction
- Clear lens
- Generous eye relief
- Fast Target Acquisition
- Duplex Reticle
Best Used for:
- Clear, fast accurate Target Acquisition

The Scope works as advertised. Now I have seen complaints that the cross hairs are too thick. That is incorrect. This scope is not a Target scope, or long range scope. it is in fact made for close quarter combat or hunting animals such as Hogs.
The Cross hairs are not heavy like some cheapo scopes, but rather a medium thickness.
Can you use them to pick off sparrows? No the hairs are a little to thick for that.
How about Deer, Hogs, Rabbits, Fox etc... Of course. The cross hairs are made so you can quickly pick them up, in the brush, swamp, forest etc. After all, you working with 1 to 4 power, you looking at a close quarter scope. You want to find those hairs quickly.
Can you shoot 6 inch plates at 300 meters? Yes, the cross hairs do not cover the target up.
Can you shoot the eraser off the end of a pencil at 25 meters? Get real...No, the hairs are too thick and this scope is not intended for that.
How about the Target for zeroing in at 100 meters? Oh the hairs are some what thick. But you can still do that. This scope is designed for quick pickup of the hairs, getting them on target quickly, not for shooting tiny groups on paper at the range.
The Fire dot works very well.
Pros:
- The firedot system works very well.

The glass on this scope was pretty good. I believe it's the same as a VX-2. The firedot retcicle was brighter than I thought it would be. However, the hash marks made it too busy for my liking. I would stick with one of the hunter models where the turrets are covered and the duplex is more traditional.
