The upper is nice, it’s got m4 feed ramps and it does include a hole to mount retro scopes . Would highly recommended.

I’m happy with my purchase. Upper was in-spec, and as advertised. Unlike a previous reviewer, mine did come with the teardrop forward assist installed. Luth may have some QC issues, but I got exactly what I wanted and a good price.

Did not come as shown with teardrop assist
Very nice upper and otherwise satisfied with the product but as you can see in the picture it shows a teardrop assist. The upper i received is round. Since this is going on a retro build i am going need to change it. O/P if your reading this you owe me a teardrop assist.

luther a1 upper
Looks great for retro build.0p packaged it great but receiver had large nick and tooling marks before it was anodized. So little disapointed in Luthar’s quality control not sure if want to send it back!

I completed a build using this AR-15A1 (Canadian version?) Barrel, bolt carrier, and charging handle fit and functioned with no issues. Upper to lower fitment was fine.

Used for an AR15-A1 Backup Upper Build
Ordered this product for an AR15-A1 Backup Upper Build, but would also work great for an A2 Upper Build as it has features of both. Looks great, and used along with a Luth A1 Style Handguard, and a 20" Barrel to build a great looking but updated AR15-A1 Style Rifle.
