Is the rear sight hight compatible with f marked front sight? Manufacturer Answer

The difference between the "F" marked and "non F" marked FSB is .04" so most rifles can be sighted in with either FSB in use and the post should have enough travel for that.

I’m happy with my purchase. Upper was in-spec, and as advertised. Unlike a previous reviewer, mine did come with the teardrop forward assist installed. Luth may have some QC issues, but I got exactly what I wanted and a good price.

A1 Upper Receiver Assembled. Start your project with our complete A1 upper receiver. Comes with the standard features of a Mil-Spec upper receiver and is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard coat anodized, tough finish. The A1 carry handle includes A1 adjustable rear sight, and perfect for building a retro M16A1E1, M16A2 Carbine Model 723, or a Model 733 Commando. The upper has a shell deflector and tear drop forward assist and dust cover. The C7 style carry handle allows mounting a scope from the era for a retro look. This upper does not have M4 feed ramps in keeping with the military A1 uppers. Use with any Mil-Spec lower receiver.image
