Maglite 5 D
Maglite has a reputation for quality. I've had a few that have been around for over 20 + years. Strongly recommend these lights for long term use. Durable aluminum housing that holds up to rough use for years.

Club not flashlight
This is a dinosaur, can't believe it's still listed. 120 lumens, I have $6 cree lights the size of a biclighter that throw more, get a fenix, you won't regret that. Kind of sad. Just too many better options out there.
It's a maglite
It's a maglite. I got it for 50 bucks. Super cheap. Same quality light

It's a maglite
Fairly bright. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Well packed. The extra bulb is not labeled so don't throw the foam away inside.

Walk Softly; Carry a D-Cell Stick
This is the 20th-century carbine version of a Moses Stick, with a light. Nothing beats the weight of a D-Cell Maglight when preaching to the Ungratefuls. When you're at hugging distance, you don't need more than 127 lumens. What you need is a light with the added function of ensuring that your message is clearly understood. This lighted communication implement will breach glass and wood barriers that seek to impede your passage. Once you close the distance, your message will reverberate through the bone. This implement has a third added feature: your grip and forearm strength will increase to manly levels.
Pro tip: keep the spare bulb safe in your car. Not in the tail cap.

Invest somewhere else
MegLite used to be a leader and a top notch brand. For unknown reasons, the management of the company in recent years has been nothing short of embarrassing. Not only have their products fallen far behind the competition as another reviewer points out, but I have had several seize up lately where the electronics cause batteries to drain and corrode the internals to the point where you can't open the light. Requests for "lifetime warranty" support go unanswered after a year. Notice I didn't say, they challenged the warranty- they simply no longer respond to warranty requests.
