Used it once so far and was impressed with it. I like how it saves the data to a sd card and put it into an excel spreadsheet when put into a computer.

This choice with all the spacers is a must have. Fits all my rifles.

I have been using this chrony for about 3 years now, and it's great. It takes a little bit of trial and error to get the right fit for each barrel, but once it's set, it's set.
+ Stores LOTS of data! :)
+ Can be fit to a variety of rifles
+ No risk of accidentally shooting it (like with the light-screen types)
My only gripes are....
- it only stores 99 shots at a time. If you're gathering long strings of data, you might need to collect multiple 99-shot data sets, and then upload them to your computer and compile the statistics yourself.
- on the fashionable AR-15's with long handguards (almost right up to the muzzle), you may have to remove the handguard to use the product. I don't mind doing this, but it might be a turnoff for some people.
- using it to gather data will naturally disrupt your barrel harmonics, which means that you can't reasonably expect to gather MV data and grouping data simultaneously. Again, I don't mind having to shoot separate strings for MV and precision, but I've heard other people cite this as the primary reason why they chose a different chrony system.

Very good product. It has given me much more flexibility in my testing of load development than my previous Chronograph.

Very easy to use and produces more accurate readings compared to my other chronograph. I bought this to be more mobile, easier to use, more accurate and more flexible. So far it's lived up to those wishes very well. I'd recommend this device for its accuracy and its very budget friendly.
Pros:
- easy to use
- Affordable
- Lightweight & accurate
Cons:
- barrel attachment for readings

So, word of advise do not try to buy one of these on ebay. The bayo should be flat and clean, not like a bullet augered a little groove on the top of the bayo surface. It is also surprisingly hard to find a picture or video showing the top of the byo. Aside from that this is beautiful! I sat, read the instructions, played with different spacers to get it exact. I may be a little more paranoid given my previous experience with the ebay one and I do not want to ruin the bayo, so I might be more cautious than most setting this up. I figured getting it mounted at home saves valuable range time, which I highly recommend. There's 2 sensors in the bayo, you can feel when I used the micrometer in the verification step with a cleaning rod sticking out of the muzzle measuring the gap between the rod and top of the bayo. The distance has to be 1/16" of each other, and you'll feel the magnetic pull of where the sensors are when you measure. I got lucky and both the rifles I tend to use for this are the same stack of spacers. The strap is a little tricky at first, but it could be me over thinking it some since it is getting strapped to the barrel. I recommend backing the securing knob out as much as possible with maybe just a few threads engaged, tighten the slack out of the strap, then start tightening the knob. It is in the instructions, but maybe tighten helps the next person a little easier. I would think to make it easier if you have different barrel dimensions and need different spa...

Works flawlessly and very easy to use! I have used it on 4 different rifles now and after reading just the section on set up I was able to go right to work with it in just a few minutes time. The menus was very straight forward and easy for me to navigate and use. It included a micro sd card and battery right out of the box too!

This is a very good chronograph . My only criticism is that the strap that holds it in place is hard to get tight. I think it could be better engineered. The best thing about it is that it doesn’t depend on sunlight.

This is THE solution to gathering round velocity data! I have the Caldwell chronograph, and this does away with fighting lighting and alignment problems altogether. The only reason I give it four stars is that they do not include easy access to the data via a phone app w/o purchasing the MagnetoSpeed XFR Adapter (for an additional $25; integrated into the Caldwell via phone & app connection). You have to remove the data card and put it into a pc to access and manipulate the log files. This should be included in the V3 kit, since it is the 'Cadillac' of Chronograph offerings.

Pros:
- Portability, usability, accuracy, repeatability, reliability.
Cons:
- Cost, lack of easy access to data.
Best Used for:
- Measuring muzzle velocity

I bought this chronograph to help my load development for ELR. I compared the results with other top line devices and definitely it is very accurate. You can find everything you need on this kit, including batteries and case.
