Magpul MIAD Gen 1 AR10 grip
I like Magpul grips. This grip, however, did not fit my Windham Weaponry SRC 308. I did not return it because I can use it on other rifles. I will need to be satisfied the Hogue grip that came with the rifle, just prefer Magpul grips.

Good storage
I trust Magpul engineering above many other companies. This piece is no exception. It has a little extra material on the backstrap, to fill the gap found on many AR10s. Also there are many options for interior storage, including oil bottles, spare bolts, etc.

Great Grip! Love how you can change the straps without removing the main grip. Just need to be more specific with Details on fitment.

Completely useless!
I have tried this grip on 5 different AR platforms and it doesn’t fit any of them properly. This grip has two interchangeable backstraps, neither of which can be seated properly when the grip screw is tightened. As the grip screw is tightened, the backstrap begins to slide down the main body of the grip, meaning the storage core cannot be inserted into the grip because the 3 pieces are completely misaligned. This grip is garbage!

Both back straps will not fit!
This is poorly fabricated. Both of the beaver tails it comes with are not properly cut, so when you try to tighten the grip to the receiver, the pieces start to slide apart. If you want to use this grip, be prepared to break out your Dremel and do some cutting. It looks good until you try to install it.

I was in the market for an FDE grip to go along with some customizations that I was doing. The Magpul MIAD did not disappoint. Install is pretty simple (be mindful of the two springs that engage between the pistol grip and the lower receiver for the rear take down pin retention and the safety). Inside the grip there is a small lubrication bottle and there is a second hole in the bottom of the grip that supports the Springfield Armory Accutite adjustment bolt.

I didn't see anywhere in the description that this was a type 2. I needed type 1, so I ended up pirchasing elsewhere.

Highly recommend
Bought for my mostly Aero parts .308 build. Overall, I can say this is one of the best grips I've ever used. Its got amazing ergonomics and perfect for someone with larger hands. I also love the fact that it has different options for the front and back strips. This allows for the traditional mil angle grip but also theres an option that allows for a more up right grip. You can also choose to have the front finger grooves or not. The icing on the cake for this grip aside from price, is the storage space. It comes with an in grip lube bottle, but this can be removed to clear space for a field repair parts, batteries, etc. This grip also sits perfectly flush with the lower receiver without leaving the dreaded gap between the beaver tail. Chose this over the MOE K2 and BCM mod . If you are considering this grip, stop waiting, and pull the trigger. Youll be glad you did!

Magpul MIAD grip
I'm a big fan of this grip. It's easy to install and fits my XL hand great with the large attatchment, a couple are included so you can find what size fits you best. I ordered mine in od green and it looks great on the rifle in addition to how great it feels in my hand.

Perfect grip for my latest build
As with all of the Magpul products this grip does not disappoint. Great fit and function. Just the right amount of grip. The angle of the grip is right on. The compartment for oil or batteries is ideal for field use!!
