Magpul MIAD/MOE grip core

MOE K2 came without a grip core. The CR123 core is what I use the most for optics and light batteries. Easy to get to and seals tight.

oil is always on hand

Falls out every time I shoot but yet at the same time impossible to get out without tools when I want it out. Most frustrating thing Magpul has ever made. Stay away.

Don't Bother

These things do not stay in. They are difficult to get out when you want them out but they still seem to fall out when you are shooting .Makes you look like an idiot when you have to pick this thing up off the ground and put it in your pocket. You will only do that once then leave it out after that. Save your money.

Great water resistant stash spot for batteries, ear plugs, etc. fits plenty more than just batteries, store a set or two of ear plugs, a coin battery for the red dot, and a lens cloth. I wouldn't submerge the thing and expect it to keep out water, but it should be fine for a quick dunk or whatever rain can throw at you.

Good in theory, not the most practical though

Using inside the Magpul K2+ grip. Getting these to open or close to start with is a pain. Not exactly something you could do quickly or consistently if you need access to whatever you're storing inside right away. Maybe it breaks in with time. I did have it pop out of my grip once after about 100 rounds, luckily I saw it and didn't leave it behind.

In theory it's a great idea to make use of empty space inside your grip. In practice it falls short.

Falls Out with Every Shot

Falls out of the grip with every shot of the gun, it is a terrible design. My bolt fell out of the grip when the storage became detached and fell into the sand. Very disappointed in magpul for this one!
