Great sling at a good price.
Purchased this for a mini 14 as I needed a sling that did not need swivels. easy to install and easy to adjust quickly. Well made and Opticsplanet service great as usual. If your rifle or shotgun has factory installed sling attachments, this is the sling you need.

I've never been in the military.
But, since 1969 I've trudged around the mountains and valleys of the Cascades and Oregon high desert enough and use many different slings. This sling is well made. It is way too much, too much material, too many fittings, too wide.

Magpul MS1 sling
These are my favorite slings. Magpul uses a unique tubular webbing that is very pliable which allows for quick easy quiet adjustment while hunting.

Sling is solid and well made, highly recommend. We used magpul slings when I worked at a nuclear plant in the security department and these are meant to last.

Best Sling for the Money
This is a great two point sling at lower price than its competitors. They market the inline slider as being less of snag hazard than pull-tab type slings, but I think it's more important contribution is that it's a little more intuitive to find since it doesn't flop around. It's also several inches longer than a Vickers sling. You can always cut off the excess if you want, but it gives you plenty of material to drape over armor and backpack straps and still have room to move your rifle.
It seems to be made of polyester or a polyester blend rather than nylon, so it might a bit less durable. But polyester is softer and slicker, so it almost feels like a padded sling and slides over your kit more easily.

The best sling
I still think the MS1 is the best sling on the market. Simple and you can use whatever mounting hardware you want. Or just use paracord for sling attachments. The slide is my favorite of any quick adjust sling.

Great strap style sling
One of the simplest and most effective slings I have tried. I have this sling in coyote, and it is a handsome color. I actually used the 1.25” wide Talon sling swivels to use these on a more traditional hunting rifle. If your setup is in the double digits, the padded version may be better (I use the padded version for some heavier 14# with side QD mounts). I know that there are wider straps on the market, but this a nice width at a quality thickness. The adjustment slider is a great quality and a large size to easily grab and adjust. This design also cuts back on having a loose end of a strap hanging. Will buy more!
