PROS:

Mr Swamp and his wild ride
Great item that came in quickly as described. It is a little heavier than it looks in the pics, and I only have the 8&1/2 inch handguard. You will need a small mallet for this as it needs some heavy pushing so that it fits flush. A little bit of play in the handguard even when fitted as best as possible. Installation was super easy and simple, great, perfect for dumb swamp dogs like me. Would 100% recommend if you want something more modular and customizable.

Great quality and fit
Got this to upgrade MAC Arms 1014, and when I received the part I was blown away with the quality of the part and the easy installation process. The part fit perfectly and looks awesome. Love it & will recommend it to anyone getting a M4/1014 style shotgun.

Forend for Benelli M4
I wanted to mount an angled foregrip on my Benelli M4. I originally purchased the Hayl Rail. I decided not to install the Hayl due to the use of 4 set screws, which seemed like it would be a hassle long term. I bought the Truckee and it went on quite easy with no tools required. I have not gone to the range yet, so I reserve the right to change my mind/review if it comes apart under fire, but immediately post install, I like it.

The short version doesn’t offer many useful mounting option
This is advertised as the “easy” version. You will have to remove the 2 shell extension every time, and if you have an H20 version, you will scratch the shell tube up as you fiddle around trying to get this seated, as the pistons and the barrel and the two plastic pieces and the stock all have to be aligned just so. The top is open, and you can see the cylinders so the pistons are exposed to the elements. You can’t mount anything nearest the muzzle as there is not enough clearance for the m-lock screws underneath. The finish is slick so you will likely need some m-lock inserts. You may better off with a CDM Gear ROC-12S Low Profile Light Mount with Built-In Sling Swivel Dock. I’m still looking for the IWC picatinny rail…but the owner died on Feb so not sure if these will ever go back in production. Sometimes it’s just hard to improve on a great original design.

Tight fit for the Benelli M4 H20 LE version.
Looks good, it is well made and you can fit a bunch of accessories on the long one. It was very difficult to install, and I anticipate being just as hard to take off, when time comes to clean my Benelli m4. Go with the short version or leave as is, I have the H20 LE version and I am afraid I may have scratched the finish getting this thing on. Not practical if you anticipate having to service your firearm and disassemble it.
