So I’ve been using mlok on most of my builds but I was trying to do a mk12 “style” build this time around. First of all, let’s talk about esthetics. MI has everything going for them. Out of spec

I installed my rail following Midwest industries installation video torqued to spec, set the rifle in the rack and noticed that the rail under its own weight had sagged to one side would sag to what side was leaned to the rack up down side to side, no rotation though, overall this is the first product from Midwest that I have that has been of poor quality, doesn't help Midwest's warranty isn't easy to use and leaves them a way out even when the problem is their fault,

This is now my second Midwest Industries Combat T series rail, and it’s great! Instructions are super clear making the installation a breeze. Installed this on my 20inch FN and wanted to shed weight by swapping the gas block to something more low profile. I will say if you wanted to keep your A2 style gas block/front post, you can still utilize this rail system.

solid rail

Your money is well spent with Midwest Industries. The rail is a solid lockup with anti rotation tabs. It comes with a proprietary barrel nut and barrel nut wrench. The fit and finish is great and you don’t have to spend Geissele money for Geissele quality.

Thing is solid and aesthetically pleasing. Comes with barrel nut wrench. At 12.67” it’s a much more affordable alt to the Geissele MK7(about 40% the cost before factoring in the barrel nut).

Disclaimer- haven’t shot with it yet so can’t speak to rigidity/flex/durability atm

High Quality. You wont regret it

I am personally a huge fan of the quad rail despite lighter mlok options; however, choices are relatively slim. I debated back and forth between paying $300-500 for a Geissele or DD rail and decided to take a leap of faith on this one. I have no regrets, NONE! This hand guard is of premium quality and after looking at it and a DD side by side.... i have to say the the cost difference is only in the advertising. If you're looking for a quality product but need to spend some of your cash elsewhere on rifle upgrades, go with this option and it won't let you down.

the perfect quad rail

Ive had probably a dozen different quad rails on as many rifles over the years and this one is right up there with knights armament quad rails when it comes to quality but far superior when it comes to weight. I love it.
