I wanted to go for the Block II aesthetic for my AR47, or my Block 47 I'm not calling it. If you dont want to spend 400 dollars for a Ris II rail from DD, this is probably the next best option that will still provide a solid free floating design that will retain zero and not interfere with the harmonics of the barrel. Installation is not hard, trust me, but it is more involved than some other options. You will need a dremel with metal cutting wheels, and a pair of pliers and maybe a pair of snap ring pliers but you probably dont need them. Theres instructional videos on YouTube if you need guidance on how to install. Its relatively straight forward.
Pros:
Cheaper than a Ris II, still quality, good design.
Cons:
Still expensive, installation requires tools.
Best Used for:
Block II aesthetics, moving lights and IR devices further out on a carbine length FSB gun.
