Most Helpful Positive Review Great rail and recommend by me!
First of all, Who is this Clay guy who gave a 1 star review? He obviously did not due his research and read the description about these rails not including a barrel nut and shame on him for not knowing that almost all billet upper receivers are not miI spec so of course the rail is not going to fit!...

Most Helpful Negative Review Doesn't come with barrel but and won't work with my seekins 200 dollar billet upper
I knew it wouldn't work right when I got it out of the packaging, 180 dollar rail that doesn't come with a barrel nut? ridiculous. The rail is bulky in the wrong places contacting the upper before I can slide it all the way back onto the backup barrel nut I had just in case

Good handguard

by RFWO, Verified Owner from Germany Written on April 20, 2025
There are not many two-piece free float rifle length handguards on the market and hard to get here in Germany.I’m satisfied with this product. Once the delta ring and the springs are removed it’s easy to install. I don’t regret the purchase.

Very easy to install. A great way to free float your rail while keeping a pinned gas block/front sight.

easy solid and light quad rail

by mav88user, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on February 2, 2025
I used this on a 20 inch rifle with a FN government barrel.

I did took it apart fully to put this on but you don’t have to. The Dremel method is the official way and does work fine. I just don’t actually own a dremel so I did it the long way.

Be sure to use a torque screw driver (25 FT/LBS) and the included vibritight. After you have it aligned to your satisfaction of course.

It’s quite light for what it is. Compared to a free float mlok rail of the same length. It’s Only a few ounces more in weight.

The QD points are great for slings too. I’ve got a mid length one order for a second rifle. Waiting on a QD bipod mount to complete it.
Pros:
  • light
  • EASY INSTALL
  • Strong
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Free float

MI Gen 2 Free Float

by Stack Deep, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on January 18, 2025
This is a solid quad rail for a good price. Locks up very nicely with the upper receiver for a flush fit. My only complaint, it’s a little bulky. Comparing it side by side to the DD Omega 9 quad rail, MI feels more bulky in the hand. Other than that, the quality is exactly the same for half the price. Lastly, I cut off the Delta ring with a dremel tool. I recommend this product.
Pros:
  • Solid fit
Cons:
  • Bulky

Quality rail, highly recommend

by sniperofbuffalo, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on October 12, 2024
Installed in my PSA premium M4A1 upper with FN barrel, wanted to build a SOPMOD-style clone without spending over $500 on a Daniel Defense quadrail. Installation was very easy and straight forward. The rail includes a wrench and packet of threadlocker for installation. I've shot around 250 rounds with it on so far and it's held up. No rattle or play whatsoever.

Quad rail handguard

by geo, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on October 10, 2024
This quad rail hand guard feels very durable. I was nervous at first because following the instructions and cutting off the brand new delta ring with a bur bit but after the installation it feels very rigid .

Solid, compatible, and not going anywhere

by Grok, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on July 13, 2024
This is a good, solid FREE-FLOATING quad handguard. Free floating meaning, it solidy mounts/attaches to the barrel nut - a USGI barrel nut in the case of this series - and does not require front end attachment with a front cap or otherwise, although it is compatible and will work with M4 round front caps. But if installed correctly and torqued to the recommended in-lbs (see instructions) this thing is not going to move on you.

Of course, being Midwest Industries this is a very well machined and solid quad-rail handguard with standard picatinny rails. These are very standard and they are said to support most piston systems as well. I may get around to trying that someday, as I AM a believer in piston-driven systems. Especially when you're running a suppressor, it helps keep things a LOT cleaner -- which translates to your rifle running a lot longer before you HAVE to clean it because the action is full of carbon fouling.

Although they don't really advertise this as a feature anymore that I've seen, one of the great features of this particular model -- and I'm talking about the carbine-length 7" model in this series in particular -- is that it has the correct "full cutout" slots on the forward and aft ends of each 3/6/9/12 rail to be fully compatible with the USGI Knights/P&S/etc. RAS rib rail covers' metal retention clips. So if you like those rib rail covers and others that use the same spring clip retention clips -- and need the "full cutout" slots these clips need ...

Great Rail

by Hanson, Verified Owner from ME, United States Written on March 23, 2024
Bought this for a NOS PSA FN double Cr lined 16” mid length upper.
Easy install: remove old handguard, cut delta ring and spring, clean/oil barrel, install.
Good quality, not quite as refined as some of the higher end brands but a lot less money and functions as it should.
This handguard is sturdy and will not fail to function in the foreseeable future.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Durability
  • Functionality
  • Ease of installation
  • made in America
Cons:
  • Cannot order it in DD RIS Milspec+ color!
