Light and amazing
i'm nore than pleased with the 15" handguard i replaced myolder version with. Reduced weight by more than 1/2 as this comes in just shy of 10oz with barrel nut and screws. Awesome product and vey happy with my build. great for small hands but works with larger and plenty of room for accessories including grip pads. Not necessarily a con but price was a concern, yet worth every peny i paid once i received it. Shout out to Optics planet too for the assist on discount code!

Perfect Fit and Finish
Every edge on this handguard a meticulously designed to be comfortable and rugged. It’s deburred and rounded over edges make a for sold comfortable grip. It’s lightweight has excellent lock up. And it’s priced way under competing companies with same quality or better I’ve had multiple MI handguards and they always exceed expectations. Optics Planet provided the best price and free 2day shipping nothing but good things to say about this product and purchase.

awesome lightweight handguard
Midwest Industries has made a very nice lightweight handguard. This thing is so astatically pleasing. It was easy to install and has a solid lock up. Wasn't sure if I'd like not having a full pic rail and 7 sided m-lock but after installing this handguard I don't care. I wanted to build a super lightweight upper and this fit the bill. I highly recommend it.

Although this handguard didn't fit my non mil spec AR22 upper perfectly, a little grinding made it flawless. The quality of these rails are very high and the annodizing is superb. Nice product.

Gorgeous handguard but will not work with Wilson BILLet lower
Gorgeous handguard but will not work with Wilson BILLet upper. Saw another review that said they used it with a Wilson Combat upper. That must have been a forged upper. Won't work with a billet. Shame because it is really a nice unit.

Awesome weight saver
Was looking for a rail for a hunting rifle. Originally wanted a completely round handguard but not very many options out there so I went back to my old faithful Midwest industries brand. When I got the package I thought it was empty because it weighs so little. A little nervous about the barrel but since it has been thinned down compared to their standard barrel nut but only time and use will tell if it will hold up to being bumped around in the woods. Other than that seems like a great product

Great upgrade
Love it. Very light. Small diameter but plenty of room for low profile gas block. Great fit, easy install. 15 inch looks great on 16 in barrell. Put on MP15.
