Solid Mount
This is a nice semi-permanent mount. Attach your optic then slide it onto your upper receiver rail from the back, insert the cross bolts, and tighten down. Virtually impossible to come off unintentionally.
Another reviewer rated it poorly because it didn't put his holosun sight at lower 1/3. Holosu...

Not recommended. Several issues. Not compatible with Holosun HE403 series
1. Mount completely blocks iron sight's sight picture. Does not offer lower 1/3rd co-witness. Completely renders iron sights useless. When comparing the mount to the mount which comes with the Holosun HE403 series, this mount is slightly taller, which obstructs your iron sights when you try to look ...

NOT an absolute co-witness mount
If you are looking for an absolute co-witness mount for your T1 or holosun, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. The "T1-CO" part number is advertised as absolute co-witness but is actually a very tall lower 1/3 mount. You can tell immediately just from the cheek weld. Not even close to the correct height. I tried pairing it with a holosun 403 and back up irons from LaRue and the irons were so bottomed out in the window that they are unusable. Not sure how this design ever got approved. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered, others have pointed this out.

Midwest Industries NV Mount
What a great mount. Nice and tall so when you present the firearm you are more at a heads up position rather than sinking down into the gun too much. Way more comfortable to shoot. A+++

Excellent value
At about half the price of some other models, it can't be beat. Very well built, attention paid to the small details (steel thread inserts where the bolts tighten), and simple. No built-in rear sight, which I prefer, just a fairly big window to look through if you need to use your irons. I have a romeo4 xt pro on mine on top off a BCM 14.5, and it's a perfect setup.

night vision height
Poor fit, the optic will not seat properly, and can damage your threads.

Good for the price
Solid machining, tight fit, seems overpriced for the basic, no frills features. Solid lock-up to the rail. I like to pair with Holosun, SIG, etc RDS.

Solid, no frills....
This mount is a solid with no frills setup. It looks good and adds the height I was looking for. Only downside is that it only has cross bolts to secure it and no locking lug underneath. It's held solid thus far and I hope it continues too.
Pros:
- Solid, clean, no snags, height
Cons:
- No locking lug underneath

midwest industries t1/t2 mount (1/3 Co witness)

No-frills, solid mount!
This is a superb mount for anything with the T1/T2 footprint. It's not QD, but if that's not something you need, this'll save you money over a mount that does have QD. The fit to picatinny is solid and durable. I definitely recommend it!
Pros:
- Solid mount
Cons:
- No QD, great if you don't need it.
Best Used for:
- Rifles
Would recommend: Yes
Doesn't fit
My aimpoint T2 doesn't fit. The slot was milled too deep so the mounting surface doesn't even make contact. Terrible design as well. You have to take all of your other attachments off the receiver just to mount it because theirs no moveable "locking lug"
Pros:
- Non
Cons:
- all
Best Used for:
- nothing - do not buy

Another great product from Midwest
Widwest does it again. Great products for great prices.
This is what you buy when you are looking at upgrading the mount on your entry level/midgrade T2 footprint red dot. Anyhwere from 55 to 70 dollars depending on sales and discount codes gets you everything you need and nothing you dont at all the heights you might need.
Its lightweight, it looks like a solid chunk of aluminium, it isnt, its milled out on the inside to save weight. Its not QD, but it doesnt need to be, this is a more robust and solid design than QD and its a red dot, cowitness your irons if you need to.
This is a product you will buy and not regret, it will always be useful and you will not outgrow it. No need to spend 100-150 dollars on a T2 mount if yoy dont want to. This is it right here!
