Mueller Optics 40mm 3-Inch Sunshade
I purchased this hoping it would work on my CenterPoint 4-16x 40mm scope which I have mounted to my Ruger 10/22. It screwed directly into scope with no problem. You do have to unscrew the CenterPoint front ring prior to installing.
Pros: Works on the CenterPoint 4-16 40mm Scope.
Cons: Non
Sunshade for Mueller scope.
Not even close to fitting.Was no where near being large enough.

Purchased as a option to try to fit Nikon product. It did not.

Mueller scope with sun shade
Well-built scope for the price. This is my second Mueller scope. Having the adjustable AO is nice to clean up the view at further yards. As always shipping was quick, and the item received was as described.

Fits Weaver V16 scope with silver finish!
Threads fit on my Weaver V16 scope with silver finish. Color is very close match. Only gave 4 stars because inside of sun shade is also silver coated. Would be better if inside was black to reduce reflections. Worth it anyway since Weaver discontinued their factory sun shade years ago.

- Replaces discontinued Weaver V16 sun shade.

- Silver lining reflects some glare.

- varmint/target shooting

Mueller Optics 40mm 3inch Sunshade
Received this sunshade yesterday, 7/23/22 after waiting nearly a month and a half. The sunshade works perfectly on my BSA Sweet 22 3x9x40 AO scope. No issues with thread pitch differences between scope and shade. Thankyou Opticsplanet for this value priced piece of kit.

Meuller Sunshade
The sunshade is made of good material and seems to be a nice setup, however the 44 mm is for Adjustable Objective only, will not fit standard 44mm objective. I would recommend it still because it seems to be made of good quality material

Does fit BSA Sweet 22
Bought this because I saw that other people had success with it fitting there BSA Sweet 22 3-9x40 AO scope. Can confirm it fits great. The finish is the same as my scope so it doesn’t look out of place. The outer diameter is the same as the outer diameter of the very end edge of the scope.

Bonus For those with a BSA Sweet 22
Confirmed fit on BSA Sweet 22! Will buy more! Fit and finish is good. Like the looks! Over all great value. Recommend this for anyone looking for a sunshade to fit their Mueller or BSA Sweet 22. I like that they are stackable if you need your sunshade to be longer.

Different OD.
When I first opened the package I found it to be adequate to ship this product with out defect, also the shipping was fast as usual from optics planet. The fit and finish were also good, however, this sunshade is a slightly different outside diameter, which means that my butler creek caps that I had on the scope no longer fit. . . which was frustrating to say the least.

If you need a sunshade...
Installation was easy enough, it simply threads onto the end of the scope. Definitely changes the look of things. Makes the rifle appear to have much "more" scope on it. One drawback is that I had to find some elastic cord to use to make the scope caps fit. The original cords had to be stretched to the maximum length to get the caps on and it seemed it was going to lose elasticity in short order.
