Nice Addition

Written on Oct 25, 2019

Fit and finish of these grips was better than expected for the price. Probably not appealing to the “tacti-cool” crowd, but they’re not much into revolvers anyway. They definitely add to the classy appearance of your wheel gun without sacrificing functionality.

Good Slip Bobber

Written on Jul 30, 2017

These slip bobbers are everything I expected them to be. They are of solid construction. The top of the tube has a tapered design that makes a bobber stop bead optional or even unnecessary. No complaints.

A little finicky

Written on Jun 11, 2017

I was able to get this thing to work, but it was not like blowing a regular whistle. It took a little work to get it right. I'd stick with the "Fox 40" if you need a small whistle. Those are only slightly more expensive and work like they should.

Good Product

The fabric is appropriate for summer wear. They are a nice pair of shorts for the price. The cargo pockets are handy for phones and wallets; more comfortable than in the rear pockets. I would recommend these.

Dependable RCBS

Written on Jun 24, 2016

In a time where quality is becoming more of an unknown variable by the day, it's nice this RCBS shell holder appears indistinguishable from the RCBS shell holders I purchased nearly 25 years ago. Thanks RCBS and Optics Planet!

If you need a sunshade...

Written on Aug 13, 2015

Installation was easy enough, it simply threads onto the end of the scope. Definitely changes the look of things. Makes the rifle appear to have much "more" scope on it. One drawback is that I had to find some elastic cord to use to make the scope caps fit. The original cords had to be stretched to the maximum length to get the caps on and it seemed it was going to lose elasticity in short order.

Excellent for Field Dressing

Written on Jul 20, 2015

While this knife is marketed as a "poultry" knife, it is an excellent knife for field dressing whitetail deer. The handle is large and easy to grip, while the blade has all the length needed, as well as the thin profile for working around the pelvic area. Inexpensive enough that you won't cry if you lose it, but guaranteed you'll buy another.

Some room for improvement, but...

Written on Aug 23, 2014

Not quite as heavy of steel as I would have hoped for, but definitely sufficient to discourage all but the most determined of thieves. It requires a little patience to get the camera out of the housing. Even just 1/4" of additional clearance to allow the camera to slide up would have been a big improvement. It goes in okay, but is a little tricky to remove. It's still the best option available given the fact that it's designed specifically for the camera.

On my 45-70

Written on Aug 23, 2014

This makes the third Leupold that I own. Nice fit and finish that you expect for a scope in this price range. Mounted it on H&R Handi-Rifle chambered in 45-70. Was looking for something rugged, since this rifle "ate" a cheaper scope after 35 rounds. Have fired 45 rounds so far with the Leupold and it's still on the money.
