Machines well, looks good. But,On ar-10 lower would be better if approximately 1/8 inch or so higher. Not very much higher than mil spec. probably perfect for Ar-15 width lower

Amazing Mag Release Button

This extended mag release button is just simply amazing. I love that is it not tapped all the way through, so you have a very clean look. It’s also extended so you have no issue dropping those mags for a fast reload. I’m still waiting on 2 more that are on back order. It’s fine though, definitely worth the wait!

Well Made Extended Release

Replaced the original DPMS release, that appeared to be a AR-15 length with only minimal threads holding, with this release. Works very well and extends further out.

  • Still regular size, not over sized

Extended magazine release

This will help get you out there where you need to be on your mag catch. I used this with a .308 mag catch and the extended button gets it right where you want it.

Good fit in AR-10

Replaced my origional DPMS magazine release with this extended release. It looked as though in 2008 that DPMS used a standard AR-15 magazine release for an AR=10. Release was only on by a couple of turns of the threading which could have easily stripped out from use. Much more secure release and replaced the magazine release arm at the same time.

  • Very secure and nicely made
Cons:
  • Still a bit small but better than origional

This is a very nice button for the AR-10 rifle. The button is deeper than standard ar15 buttons. It has a good texture and is the proper depth for the AR-10. Will be buying more of these. Thanks opticsplanet.com

AR10 Mag release

The lower parts kits I got for AR 10's seemed like the Mag release didn't stick out enough and couldn't use enough of the threads. These fixed my problem. Fit and finish was good. They look nicer with the too.
