Nightforce ATACR
I'm ruined for life. I shot a 1/2 inch group @ 400 yards. I didn't believed it. So I did it again. I'm 58 years old and have hunted all my life. I've never seen anything like it. If I would of had one of the nightforce atacr 5 to 25 scopes when I was young. I'd b married to the best looking woman in the world. I'd have that much confidence. DONT look through a nightforce scope. If you don't have a pocket full of money. Because you will know it's worth the cost. I'm sorry. but it is.
Nightforce
Can’t wait to get it mounted and sighted in. Amazing clarity and dials are easy to operate

Absolutely the best
I was skeptical to spend 2500 plus on an optic. The first high end optic I purchased was a Swarovski. It has nice glass but if your not consistent with your cheek hold it will not get the best out of your firearm. The nightforce forces you to get behind it the same with out question making you a better shooter than you were before.
It is the best purchase I've made. If you want the best out of your rifle or a high end AR 30 (Mine is a .300 win mag AR) this is what you need. The optic makes you get behind the scope the same every time and that helps with accuracy. It never loses its zero. I see why the military uses it. It does have some weight but it's worth its weight if you want precision. I am now looking at putting one on my high end AR 10. I like to get the best out of my firearms. And like I said it makes me a better shooter. I have no need to ever look at a different brand as this one has me sold for life. If you want to be the best you can be this scope will get you their. I want to put one on every rifle I have so I can get the best out of the firearm.

This scope has an incredible quality that you notice immediately after pulling it from the box. I have always been a Vortex guy but for my latest rifle in .300rum, I am glad I chose the NightForce. No too take anything away from Vortex, but the overall feel of the scope is as good as it can get. The clarity of the glass is great and the reticle is excellent too. Very satisfied after sighting it in and I cannot wait to hunt with it this fall!

Excellence
Have the MOAR-T reticle and find it perfect for my type of precision shooting. Could see where the fine crosshair could get lost in busy/dark backgrounds. Glass is outstanding, tracking is spot on. I dial alot and constantly back to zero. Mechanically precise. You get what you pay for.
Pros:
- Tracking
- ED glass
- Good Paralax Adjustment
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Precision shooting

Best Scope I've Used
Granted my shooting experience is not wide or deep as I'd like but I've looked through all of the higher end brands and this model of the Nightforce line was more clear, crisp, and bright than its competition. The ZeroStop function was simple to use and the varying intensity of the illuminated reticle is a really nice feature. Was hitting 300-700 yard targets right out of the box in decent winds. It does carry some heft but that's part of the price for quality construction. Considering its performance ability and cost, I'm a bit surprised that NF doesn't include a bubble level or a better cleaning kit. If NF's other scopes have the same quality and performance, then they've got a customer for life here.
Pros:
- Quality of Construction
- Performance delivered outshines cost - no pun intended
- clear and bright optics
- accuracy of subtensions
Cons:
- on the heavy side
- lack of quality cleaning kit
- needs more swag
Best Used for:
- Tactical and hunting
- prs competition
- FUN and ACCURACY!

Nice scope
Very nice scope at a nice price delivered quickly. Optics are great. It is a bit heavy of course, maybe not ideal to put on a gun you plan to hike in with, but that is to be expected. Very good at gathering light. Buy high rings.

Outstanding Quality Scope
Shopped for quite a while looking for the best option to top my long range hunting rifle. The ATACR is built like a tank, with great optics and solid turret adjustments. The MOAR reticle is not too busy and the floating center crosshair attracts the eye. Chose the second focal plane because the reticle is large enough to see at close range and fine enough for precision aiming at distant objects. The scope comes with a sunshade and Tenabraex lens caps. Optics Planet had a great price, they shipped right away, and the cover box packaging was the best I have ever seen from a sporting goods retailer.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Might be a little heavy for some.
Best Used for:
- Long range hunting
- Tactical Work
- Varmint erradication
Would recommend: Yes

Huge NightForce Fan !!!
I have owned the ATACR MOAR-T C555 for some time now on my Daniel MK12 AR15 !
So impressed i purchased the exact same model for my Daniel DD5 AR10 !
On both machines at 300 yards there`s no challenge.
From the quality to tech support they are top shelf.
As the saying goes, "buy once cry once" or "you get what your paying for"...
My wife wants one now for her 15...
Guarantied from me it will bring your machine`s to life and will bring so much more fun to your shooting experience !

Best Glass I've seen.
I ordered this scope for my M107, I needed an ultra long range scope for it. I never owned a Nightforce scope before but I had some other high quality brands. After doing my research I decided to get this and I'm glad I did. It was shipped in a well protected box, and was delivered in about a week.
I tried it at the highest power from my back patio, I was looking about 2 miles out and it was very clear and crisp, the glass is great. It took me a few minutes to get used to the illumination control on the left dial, but I think I have it down.
I also ordered the Nightforce 1.125" rings for it, they sat too low on my rifle, so I had to return them and will get the 1.5" instead.
