The Nikon M-Series 30mm Optics Mount is a solid well-made scope mount, it holds tight no matter how many shells I fire beneath it... At a price that is easy on the wallet and a beefy ridged frame I expect this guy to hold up for years to come...

Bought this mount along with a Vortex II 6-24x50mm Scope. I was NOT disappointed. Mounted it in ten minutes on an AR10, 24" barrel of .243 caliber. I figured to spend some time getting it zeroed? NOPE! Bullet holed the bullseye at 100 yards not doing anything. Everything dead on right out of the box. I can remove and replace it and it's still zeroed. I like that. I've been out shooting three times and still haven't made any adjustments. I would call this mount a true one piece mount. You'll have to slide it down the rail with the fasteners removed to install it, it's tight! This is a great mount! ^..^~~
Pros:
- Stays zeroed if removed and replaced
- Looks absolutely great and high enough for catch basket mount.
Cons:
- It wasn't free with the scope, Ha!
Best Used for:
- Hunting, target shooting, and just looks good.

This scope mount is very light and robust. The fit and finish is superb. Only drawback is its lights on to your picatinny rail it doesn't clamp-on so it is no way intended to be a quick-release Mount. You need to remove your backup sights off the rail to install and uninstall this mountain if you need to. I have mounted on an AR-15 platform, with a 1X4 scope. I am shooting still silhouettes and paper targets. It work very well it has not become loose under shooting over a hundred fifty rounds. It seems to hold zero very well. I would recommend it for use on your duty rifle.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Fit and finish
Cons:
- Slip-on Construction, not a clamp-on

Nice mount holds "0" well. The only thing I didn't like is you have to remove back up sights and slide it over the rail to install. I like to be able to switch from a scope to a red dot. this mount is made to be installed and left on the rifle.

i used this scope mount on my AR-15 and could not be happier. i pared it with a Nikon 1.5x6x32 orange dot scope, and it is spot on for performance. i use this regularly in competitions and it has stayed stable the entire time.

SMOOTH BORED RING DIAMETERS, VERY SECURE MOUNTING CONCEPT,
SIMPLY VERY WELL MADE AND AT MARKET PRICE. THE DELIVERY WAS FAST
TOO ONLY A FEW DAYS. THE SCOPE IS JUST ABOUT SUCKED DOWN INTO ITS SEAT
WHEN INSTALLING BECAUSE THE RING DIAMETERS ARE SO ACCURATE/SMOOTH.

While I have yet to subject it to much abuse, and hope I never do, it appears to be a high quality mount. The scope attaches with only 2 screws, versus 4 for other mounts, so it attaches to the scope more easily. The 1 piece design allows for greater ease in removing and adjusting scope position on the rifle. I mounted a 50 mm objective scope on a Remington Model 597, and it provided ample clearance.
