Big Improvement
I bought this ProStaff Rimfire to replace an inexpensive scope I purchased for use on a .22LR Ruger American. I mistakenly thought .22s don't need the best of scopes. The rifle was demonstrating accuracy potential in spite of difficulties in aiming due to using poor optics so I thought an upgrade w...

No focus adjustment
Probably an OK scope but I was disappointed to find there is no focus adjustment. I've had a Prostaff rimfire on my Ruger American rimfire for three years. It's a terrific scope and has a focus adjustment on the eye piece. I bought this new one to mount on a 10/22 and was disappointed to see that th...

Never adjusting it in a couple of years.last year my grandson dropped it out of shooting house after killing a deer.It shot 3 inches to the right after 6’ drop.readjustedit to zero. Its holding zero after 8 shots.Im saying it’s good to go

Great little scope
I threw this on my Ruger 10/22 (with the DNZ mount) and it's a great little scope! The glass is clear, the reticle is useful, and who doesn't own and love a 10/22? The DNZ mount made installation easy and straight forward.
Pros:
- Optical clarity, ease of installation
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- 10/22ing!

Great for 22LR
This scope is a very nice scope for work up to 100yards. I am extremely precise with yardages. Sighting in at 75 yards is what is needed for cci mini mag 36 and 32 gr ammo. The glass is clear out to 100 yards. If you have a .17 or .17 magnum and want a 200 yard shot I would get a different scope because parallax is set at 50 yards!
If 100 yards is your range then this is a great scope for the price.

Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 2
This is truly a value for money rimfire scope. Optics are crisp and bright. Excellent BDC reticle. 3-9 is ideal for longer ranges with a 17HMR out to about 150 yards.THis is the second one of these i have bought now. I also bought one for my son and he loves it.
Pros:
- clear and lots of light
Cons:
- Plastic turret caps
Best Used for:
- Varmint

Excellent .22LR scope
This is an excellent scope! I zeroed it at 25 yards because 50 yards is just too far. I'm sure that since it's zeroed at 25 yards so well it's very likely dead on at 50 yards anyway. My 10 shot group was all within 2" at 25 yards. That's acceptable to me. I'm glad I ordered this scope. I have it mounted using Weaver aluminum bases with Weaver steel rings on my stainless steel Ruger 10/22. If you are looking for a great scope for your .22LR I highly recommend this scope.
Pros:
- Easy to zero
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- plinking
- hunting small game
- Having fun shooting
Would recommend: Yes
Great scope for Ruger 10/22
I had a less expensive scope on my Ruger 10/22 and was somewhat satisfied with it. It showed its limitations however when I tried to rid my pond of a few unwanted Beavers at dusk. It was so frustrating trying to deal with the lower light conditions. After upgrading to this scope that is much less of a problem. I love this scope and it is perfect for .22 rifle.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- Clairity
- low light conditions
Cons:
- None

nikon rimfire scope
i have used several nikon scopes in the past and decided to try the 3x9 x40 rimfire with the bdc reticle on my new cz455. the scope met all my expectations for a shooter or small game gun . adjustments were precise and the glass very clear the bdc makes hold over easy. for the price it is an exceptional value
Pros:
- good adjustments, eye relief and the hold over reticle is fine
Cons:
- None yet but will let you know if there end up being any
- none yet, if something comes up i'll return

Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II 3-9x40 Riflescope.
The Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II 3-9x40 Riflescope. is a quality optic at a great price. The glass (multi coated lense) provides a very clear unobstructed view. The scope has Nikons Spring-Loaded Instant Zero-Reset turrets that allow you to reset the scope to zero after sighting in, which is also a very easy and a pain free experience using the 1/4 “ MOA adjustments. The BDC reticle includes exact aiming points starting at 50 yards. This optic was mounted on a Ruger Target Model 10-22 and it has performed flawlessly and has maintained its zero, highly recommended this scope.
Pros:
- Quality, price, turrets, view
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Plinking, Target range

Fast delivery
Bought a new Ar and just had to shoot it like NOW. So without sights on the new gun. The easiest scope and cheapest to resight was on my .22. After going to the range, that scope, 6x24x44 worked well on the Grendel, decided to keep it there. Bought this Nikon Rimfire to go on the Ruger Target .22. With all the rain, I haven’t been to the range with it yet. Delivery was fast and the price was right.
Pros:
- fast delivery
- sale price
Cons:
- Review system
Would recommend: Yes
Great Scope for Your Plinker
I mounted this on a Ruger Precision Rifle in 22lr. The scope isn't as clear as i have seen, but it is a great value play. It does exactly what you want it too and won't break the bank. Great little glass for backyard fun.
