It solved the short barrel gas tube issues, I did have to "tweek" it a bit so ends of tubs were where they needed to be. All good. .................................................................................................

This pigtail will NOT work with 90% of hand rails out in the market. The outside diameter of the pigtail is too large to fit in the inside diameter of most any railed hand guards. KICK AZZ GAS TUBE FOR A SHORTY

I couldnt be more satisfied with this gas tube! I put it on a Alpha Shooting Sports .223 Wylde, 7.5 inch barrel. I slid that into a Vltor VIS-1 Monolithic upper. Yes, it was a tight fit, & yes, it needed a bit of encouragement to fit. A good pair of channel locks (with taped up teeth) does a bang up job at tightening the loops around the barrel. I have 3 loops now instead of the pictured 2. NO complaints, works awesome.

Best Used for:
  • Improved gas tube for ar shorty

Works great on SBR

I used this on my 458 socom SBR with a 10.5" barrel. This change the recoil impulse and allowed me to dial in my ejection pattern. The extra burn time with this tube makes a big difference for such a short barrel.

Been using one on my 7.5in 223 Wylde barrel since 2017, no issues.

Update - Jan 2022, still going good in my AR. Stopped the 7.5 inch barrels "over gassing" it had at the time, and cycle timing is now fine with its install. Its been a fine product for me, I have seen others say otherwise - can't speak for them, I know its worked great on this shorty.
