I purchased the Phase 5 Pistol Buffer Tube assembly after researching and comparing similar designs. The Phase 5 model I purchased is held in very high regards within the AR pistol build community because of their engineering and excellent build quality. Another benefit is the tubes outer diameter and length which will accept a few models of the slip-on braces from SB Tactical should the end user elect to do so. If Your building a ( AR-15). This one great way to go and be Legal. In the State of New York.

Then I just attach a short but stock to it. The Buffer Tube padding Makes for the Perfect Cheek Weld. I even Think it’s better than the normal AR STOCK. Much more sturdy and no wiggle at all.

Paired with my Aero EPC9 upper and lower

Works perfect with my EPC9. I chose to go this route because I wanted something small that could fit in a backpack without needing a brace or stock and folding stocks are finicky on the EPC9. Functions well and looks great.

pistol buffer tube

If you are doing a pistol build and dont want to go the brace route this is the way to go then. Phase5 has the nicest padded buffer tube available imo and if you get the kit the spring and buffer that comes with it are of good quality also.

As the subject line says it's doing just fine. Roughly 400 rounds of use so far. Very nice fit and finish as it looks great on the pistol build. Trying to make this short & sweet.... but 200 characters is the min lol.

Nice pistol buffer kit

Quality seems legit. Logo is subtle and clean looking. Spring is a bit noisy. Material quality on the buffer itself isn’t the best. The anodizing on the tube seems really well done. Installation was super easy. Would buy again.

Packaged well. Fit and finish perfect. Buffer and spring worked properly. Comfortable. Easy to install. Pistol cycled with 55gr. Xm193. 10.5 barrel pistol length gas system. Foam pad is not bad or uncomfortable. Would purchase again.

Does the Job At the Right Price

I purchased this product and received it in a timely manner. The box was perhaps a tad large for the item, but nothing wrong with that. Everything was here, it’s not junk, and it work well. Kind of hard to mess up, but non the less it’s still good.
