This case holds 2 different pistol uppers, reflex sights, the pistol lower assorted magazines and small tools, in a unit that matches the Plano carbine case that holds the modular sporting rifles. I cut a piece of heavy cardboard with handles on either side to mount the upper foam that is cut out for the lower module. The 2 uppers are in cut outs below. The locks are the same as the rifle case, and hold securely. The case material may be just heavy enough to be TSA compliant. The internal foam is not of a heavy type, so heavy components tend to crush it, therefore 4 stars for overall rating.

Received the case and it is well built. My issue is with Plano’s cust support. I butchered the foam insert so sent an email to cust svc at Plano asking if I could purchase a set of foam inserts. Also asked about some guidance on how to better cut the foam next time. Never heard from them so have bought foam from a third source.

Next time I think I with Pelican as they seem to be better supported. Could find all kinds of foam inserts by model number, etc

The case doesn't stay open by its self, their is plastic pieces all over that should have been trimmed off, it has 2 layers of foam but no separator so if you pluck the top layer it falls on the bottom one with no way to lift the top layer and use the bottom separately, the locks are very hard to turn and I feel like they will fail after a short time.

Great scope! Took center out of all targets at 50yrds. My 14 year old did too. I would highly recommend this scope to anyone. Laser was visible even in the bright sun.mounting was easy. Zeroing was also very easy.

We ordered two of these cases to store and transport multiple sets of electronic hearing protection for our various ranges. The cases are solid, but not too heavy. The foam was very easy to shape and pick out to the exact shape and size we needed. I would recommend this product to anyone who asked.

Great case, very solid, latches well, easy to customize. Overall im very happy with product for the price. Ill be looking into other plano cases in the future as well. I might even buy another of these cases!

I searched high and low for a multiple pistol case that would meet my needs thinking it would be a breeze. Well, long story short, it wasn't! Always at least one deal breaker: overall too small or big in total volume, or one of the linear dimensions was off...either length, width or height, not the type of foam I wanted, not the right foam thickness, sealability issues, locking clasp issues, price considerations, quality questions, and on and on. Get the idea?

As I was reaching my point of giving up this quest or making less than ideal choices which would require me to cobble together fixes, I ran into this case. It checked off all the boxes of features I was looking for and I do mean ALL! My first reaction was that this was bound to be too good to be true. But, with no other viable choices, I rolled the dice and made my purchase.

First of all, it arrived on my doorstep at warp speed! All dimensional measurements as stated. Foam was just what I wanted in quality and the pick foam was easy to configure to my pistols. Sealed perfectly when I submerged it underwater with nary a drip of water entering the case. Strong clasps and case crushing resistance. And price! 40% off and free shipping...man oh man!!

Initially I was hesitant to purchase this case because I couldn't get anyone to confirm how many layers of pluckable foam was in the case. Plano (directly) never responded to a inquiry. Took a chance based on the photo and dimensions. Yes, it does have two layers of p-foam. This will accommodate my needs.

I Got a great deal on this case from Optics planet you cannot beat it for the price, But it could use another piece of foam between the lid and the top layer of bottom foam there is a gap of about 1" but besides that I Love it!!!

The item is exactly as described. It came quickly and meets all my expectations. It is a little pricy but when you spend allot of money on guns you hvae to spend some money on protecting and transporting them!
