Heavy duty gun case
This gun case is long enough for a Remington 700 with a 26" barrel with a few inches to spare. I also have a bipod and a large scope on mine so it's a little tighter, top to bottom, but it works.
There are three layers of foam. The layer in the lid is soft and textured. The center and bottom layers are firmer and smooth. The manufacturer's intent is for you to leave the upper and lower layers alone and cut the center layer to fit your firearm. I was grateful that the center layer was firm because that made it much easier to cut with a sharp knife.

too small, no wheels
The case is too small for an M1A with a scope. Stock, Scope and flash hinder touch plastic. Case is listed as wheeled but has no wheels. Case is deep and heavy duty. Would work well with a single rifle with no optic I believe

Stupidly Nice Case
An outstanding case by Plano, it get looks every time I go to the range. The latches are very secure, and everything feels well made and durable. It is VERY heavy, which is a nice thing for me but may be a con for others. Only complaint is that with a scoped rifle with high turrets, you will have to angle your rifle down as it is not high enough on the inside. However it has enough room for my rifle and scope, bolt, handgun with mags, and a box of ammo. Wish it was a bit higher but perfect otherwise.

Great rifle case
Everything a rifle case should be. Rugged and well built. Only 10 " on inside so no tall scoped rifle will fit. Had to buy Dbl scope case just for one rifle. But its a nice case and will protect your rifle.

great gun case
this is a great gun tote
held my long barrel rifle with scope well with 2 boxes of ammo
great product with adequate foam. you could cut out if you wanted but not necessary
have had 2 gun cases but now prefer single gun. seem safer

Light and strong
Pros: heavy latches and o-ring ensure positive seal, case is reinforced in all the right places ( no flexing ) very sturdy yet not too heavy. Very comfortable carry handle, hinges and locking areas strong and reinforced.
Cons: none really but, case is only 10" wide so if rifle has a scope mounted on it there's not much padding around rifle and scope( top and bottom).

109501 for shotgun
I really prefer the Plano cases for safe, locked transportation. This case can actually fit 2 shotguns (no mounts) with enough supporting foam against the case and separation from each other. As always, take the middle layer foam out of the case; place your equipment on the form and draw an "outline" (I use a green felt permanent marker - what else would you use that color for?); take a serrated knife and, keeping your left hand out of the way, cut on the push stroke (remember, if you prepare food a lot you may tend to place your non-cutting hand too close to the cutting action!). Take your time and avoid the desire to cut on the upstroke - cutting on the pull stroke tends to shred foam resulting in a ragged line that you don't want to see each time you open the case.

Great Case
Heavy duty case fit my Remington 700 Police with 26"barrel with my SWFA SS 10x42 Tactical 30mm Riflescope. Everything good just one thing. Make sure everything before you cut. I'm start looking to change my stock. but i can't find the plano replacement foam for this case.

Will not disappoint case
This case is very sturdy and the latches are heavy duty. There is enough room to hold my Mossberg 590A1 shotgun Model 51663 and there is even space for the Ontario Knife M9 Bayonet with sheath. I wish the foam was the pre-cut squares instead of trace and cut. Otherwise, this case gives me piece of mind when storing my shotgun on the boat.

Very well made
This case is awesome compared to a higher priced Pelican case. Best of all, it is Made in USA!!! Case is very strong and very sturdy. They are made to be virtually unbreakable. My only complain is that Plano should use one piece of hard foam (on top of the included soft foam) so it can be easily traced to your rifle and easily cut with a turkey carving knife.
