Dad jokes aside this made a noticeable difference on my 10.5" B.A.D. workhorse AR15. I have an adjustable gas block and a hydraulic buffer that tame my AR significantly and this comp took away the last bit of recoil and stabilized the impulse. My red dot stays on the 12"x12" targets at 100 yards after firing now, theres no flash, and when shooting indoors its not defending. Worth the money.

On a SIG MCX 11.5" 5.56, the reduction in felt recoil and muzzle rise is substantial. Flash suppression is excellent. Fit and finish is flawless.

I will go against the flow and say there is a moderate, noticeable increase in concussion when shooting indoors compared to the SIG's original 3-prong flash hider. I think the hard dividers between lanes tend to reflect the noise. Outdoors I imagine this wouldn't be nearly as bad.

Installs easily with timing washers. Works very well for recoil reduction without being annoyingly concussive.

This is the second brake that I have of this product. Very easy to install, just wish that the washers needed to time correctly are part of the whole order.

Picked up the Precision Armament EFAB 556 from Optics Planet and couldn’t be happier. Shipping was quick, packaging solid, and the muzzle device itself is awesome — great recoil control with hardly any extra blast. Exactly what I was hoping for, and Optics Planet made the whole process easy. Definitely recommend both the product and the site!

I didnt shoot it yet, so I will ammend this comment when I do. But installation was easy (IWI TAVOR X95) and its no larger than my factory muzzle device. Build is solid and still lite weight. I also rarely give anything 5 stars and this 4/5 is only because I havent shot with it yet so I cant confirm how effective it actually is.

I recently purchased this product (ie) late October 2025K for a specific type of rifle, the IWI X95 Tavor Bullpup chambered in 5.56. In my personal opinion I've realized this Hybrid mix of muzzle break/flash hider is quite unique. My first experience with this rifle was in its original configuration without any upgrades. My second experience with this rifle was with upgrades as follows: The Geissele Super Saber Trigger Pack, the Precision Armament Gas Buster Covers & EFAB Hybrid Muzzle Brake. These combined systems have given my rifle as I describe a new sense of open breath. The entire components as a group are flawlessly working in unison & different from the way its original form factor. (I'm loving every moment with this rifle). Coming from a military background & with extensive use of many weapons this unit is really, really nice. I generally do a lot of research before putting my hard earned finances into anything that in my opinion is expensive. Bare in mind this may not be the type of rifle for your specific use, so do your research on what your needs are for the application & the intended purpose. (God bless America & its freedom that so many have sacrificed for).

The most expensive muzzle brake on the market, but well worth it. Controls flash and muzzle rise. Great quality and great looking.

I know, a brake on ar15... but shoulder troubles are definitely a thing. I've been beside dudes with brakes before and depending on how stacked the line is they can be rather annoying. This one is different. Reduces recoil and doesn't bother the the guys beside you? That's a win in my book. The only thing I'm not sure about is the flash signature.
