Works but double on that ear pro!
Put this on an AR10 setup and compared to the factory break that was on it, this thing is MEAN. Definitely would NOT recommend shooting next to people if you can help it, I had random objects on my shooting booth while using that AR10 and it began knocking stuff off of the booth when shooting, it’s that ridiculous. In terms of recoil reduction, it does its job forsure. Turns a .308 AR10 to feeling more like a .243 or soft shooting .300 BLK. If noise and side blowback isn’t an issue for you, highly recommend. If you want something a little more tamed, this probably isn’t it.
Perfect for short action rifles
I used this brake on a Bergara MG Lite in 308 win. The rifle weighs 9.3 lbs so it needed something that would tame the recoil and muzzle rise. This brake has a unique option that allows you to custom tune the amount of downward compensation by drilling out the preset bores that are not completely drilled through. I ended up drilling out all 6 holes and it is rock solid so I can see my impacts through the scope. This brake also comes with a pair of spanner wrenches to install it to your barrel.

best muzzle brake
I tried two other brands of muzzle brake before getting the hypertap. Now I don't even look at others. I now have 6 because they work so well. I can now shoot my 30 06 and and 308 with no impact to my shoulder. Down side of this is I used to shoot until I got sore but now shoot a lot more ammo.

P.A. Hypertap brake.
I now have 6 hypertap muzzle brake, because they work. They are advertised as 84% recoil reduction but I would put them at 70%. I have them on different calibers and they all work fantastic, I have used other brakes but haven't found any that reduce recoil as well as the hypertap. They come with spanner wrench, but end wrench works better.

Hypertap........
Bought this for my scar heavy and replacing the oem,it really smooth the recoil,but in exchange you get a bigger flash,oh well big deal,

Tame the tiger
This will work. If you are looking to take some recoil and add that needed look get this . Recoil reduced to very manageable and flat shooting on 20” 308. Decibel increase and muzzle blast is not that bad at all. Compared to A2 flash hider sound is still same and recoil is night and day. Stop thinking about it , your rifle needs this.

Works a stated by manufacturer and quick installation. Good quality wrenches that are provided. I like that the brake is not too bulky and very effective in reducing recoil.

best Break on rhe Market
I have used about all the tools rated breaks but continue to come back to Precision Armament for the best performance. This new style is great with the jam but installation and the ability to customize the break to your specific firearm. A little pricey. Very loud. But worth the money if you are just looking for performance.
