This charging handle greatly reduces the gas that comes back towards the shooter. I t has made shooting the AR-15 more enjoyable than ever. I barely notice it now, whereas before it was very distracting. I will certainly be buying again on my future builds.

Flimsy, not for hard use, just OK gas mitigation
This CH is flimsy, very easy to bend and is not meant for hard use. Racking the BCG at anything but a perfect angle will result in heavy friction and flexion even when heavily oiled. Top charging handle
This is one of the best gas busting charging handles with a great price and large latch

Expensive but the permit part for a Mk18 Block 0 clone
I needed a large latch PRI Gasbuster charging handle to finish up my Mk18 clone build. This part did the trick but it is way too expensive for what it is. A niche product for sure, but if you want something to clone correct, then this is what you need.

Faulty Design
The latch on this is made of steel. Your aluminum upper is much softer, this marred up my brand new Geissele upper. PRI’s customer service was terrible. Would give ZERO stars if I could.

Great for Suppressor Shooting
I have used this on a 10.3 with a high back pressure can. Its great at keeping the gas out of my face when shooting.
Only time I notice gas to the face is if you are right up the charging handle for Irons or something. Otherwise it keeps it well away from you.
Looks cool too, does not stick into your chest when slung either. Not too big or bulk and won't catch. Actually, a really nice charging handle.

Best charging handle you can buy.
This is the handle that came out before ambidextrous was all the rage. The problem with those ambidextrous handles is they are more breakable. I saw a Silencerco come apart in a guy's hand once at the range. This handle is one solid piece of metal. So if you want to direct gas away from your face and have the most reliable handle, this is the one. If your handle goes down when charging before a fight, you're toast. Plus it's easy to cerakote. You just have to knock one pin out to remove the latch.

The best price I could find was OP with a coupon code. I wanted it for a clone build. It serves its purpose well. Quality built. The price is good on sale or with a coupon. If not building a clone rifle I usually go with something else but I have no complaints.

excellent product
The first aspect of the PRI charging handle I think sets it apart is the positive tactile feedback I receive when engaging the charging handle. I never have to guess whether my grip is correct or if the latch is engaged. This comes in large part from the quality of the build. Secondly, the more obvious, is that it does a phenomenol job at dispersing and redirecting the gases.

Not a miracle fix for extreme gas, but does work some. I was happy with the performance but def needed an adjustable gas block
