Love Radian products and this was a surprisingly good upgrade to my “DMR” AR-15.! Radian ambidextrous safety uses captive pin and doesn’t use screws that might fail by backing out. The 45 degree angle and the ambidextrous lever give me motion control that I want without having the lever get in the way of my trigger finger. This 45 degree angle and the enhanced texture and positive engagement on/off help me get on target faster, effectively, and most importantly: SAFELY! Radian Talon Ambi Safety in Radian Grey

The Radian Talon Ambi Safety is my favorite safety and I wanted to get it in Radian Grey to match the color scheme of one of my builds. Took no more than 2 minutes to swap out the old safety levers and install the new ones. They look and work great. Highly recommend this safety.

Must-do upgrade

I thought the OE 90 degree safety selector on my 716 was fine until I used a friend’s AR with a 45 degree throw… I needed one. I know Radian makes quality stuff and they had some options for selectors. I went with this one here, you can run it set for 45 or 90. The install was about 10 minutes max. Just buy it!

Radian is the way to go

The radian talon is the way to go switched from 90 degree to the 45

great safety

This safety has very positive engagement. No rattle. I have large hands and the shorter side allows me to grip my ar without hotspots or rubbing from the safety. It also has the benefit of not having and screws that can come loose.
