Love Radian products and this was a surprisingly good upgrade to my “DMR” AR-15.! Radian ambidextrous safety uses captive pin and doesn’t use screws that might fail by backing out. The 45 degree angle and the ambidextrous lever give me motion control that I want without having the lever get in the way of my trigger finger. This 45 degree angle and the enhanced texture and positive engagement on/off help me get on target faster, effectively, and most importantly: SAFELY! great safety

This safety has very positive engagement. No rattle. I have large hands and the shorter side allows me to grip my ar without hotspots or rubbing from the safety. It also has the benefit of not having and screws that can come loose.

Solid safety selector

This safety selector is great. It has definitely locking positions for Fire and Safe. I like that I was able to choose which side to put the longer switch, as I'm left handed and wanted it on the right side of my rifle.

I'm not a fan of the general trend of hivemind-esqe adoration of one or a handful of different products. I have tried a few safeties from a handful of manufacturers, and figured it was about time to try this one.

Yeah, Radian is the best when it comes to the safety. It aint cheap, but if you have the $60 or so to drop, it will make your weapon handle better
Pros:
  • doesnt get in the way of shooting
  • easy to flip when you want, hard to flip when you don't
Cons:
  • only 2 options on different styles of levers
Best Used for:
  • any pistol, rifle, etc that this will fit in!
