Girly Giggles
So I've always wanted a .50 Beo ever since I seen a picture of it in an NRA Magazine. Read all kinds of articles, watched all kinds of reviews and undoubtedly decided i was going to build one. It was a few years in the making and i wasn't sure how i was going get it into the finished product, until ...

Upper assembly
When it came in i was excited to test it out. I put it on my lower and filled the supplied magazine up. I went outside and chambered a round which didn't sound right. I looked and sure enough the bolt didn't close all the way. I dropped the mag and tried pulling the charging handle back to clear it ...

light and ready to rock
Bought this for a friend's build. It's a lot lighter than a Beowulf from AA. Looks solid, and we'll see how the muzzle brake works when we get it to the range. Currently very happy with the completed project.

Love My Beawulg
I saw a video on the 12.7x42(Beowulf) cartridge and knew I had to have this upper. When it came I mounted it on the lower I had waiting, grab the factory ammo and a variety of hand loads I had loaded up and headed to the range. It worked flawlessly, fed all the different types and weights of bullets. (Everything from 275gr spire point HP to flat nosed 400gr hard cast lead) Love it!
Pros:
- Soooo much fun
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:

12.7x42mm Radical firearms 16" upper assembly
The first time firing, the case didn't fully eject. Second time firing the bolt locked up due to forward assist locking bolt closed. The forward assist was bent due to being too long and jammed from the recoil. I ordered a new forward assist to correct the bolt being locked up, but it is still a hit or miss if the cases eject or not. I suspect the extractor being the issue with being a rebated rimmed cartridge with a standard lenghth extractor. Further investigation is needed to correct the problems.

RADICAL FIREARMS
Shoots good. Loading rainier 335gr. plated bullets with imr-4227. About 2 inch groups at 100. Can hit 10 inch plate consistently at 150 haven't shot it any farther yet. Hand guard did come loose, put loctite on screws haven't had any trouble with it since. Have it on a rock river lower fits fine.

Beowulf clone
It's awesome and the best part of this item is it's half price what Alixander arms wants for this caliber. Same puppy only much less expensive here at optics planet. The recoil is about equal to a 20 gauge shotgun so it's not bad considering it was developed to stop a moving vehicle at border crossings. And I've seen footage of it doing just that. Depends on the rounds you use. They make a deep penetration high grain round for that purpose but heck I just like shooting it at targets, it's fun and it will make you smile for sure. The 12.7x42 rounds are about half the cost of Socom rounds, so you can do what we all want to do: SHOOT MORE.

You want some fun, buy this upper!
It's the same as a 50 Beowulf. The 50 Beowulf ammo is much more inexpensive than the 450 Bushmaster or 458 Socom, that's a plus. Also, I just had to have a 50 cal in my AR-15. Beyond that, I can hunt with this gun for deer, bear, elk, hogs or anything else and lastly, a 30 round .223 clip holds 10 rounds of 12.7x42 (50 Beowulf rounds). Love my new toy!

12.7 x 42 = FUN
Same as the other.50B just at about 1/2 the price! Extractor may need a little tuning and modified surplus magazines definitely need tuned but other than that, it's a BLAST!! Pun intended, LOL!!!!!!!!!

A mixed bag
I am happy with the finish and the muzzle brake. The charging handle is a cheap piece of garbage. It had tool marks and the finish was horrible. I immediately replaced it with another one I had. The other problem is the bolt that comes with it. It flat doesn't work and will not eject the shells properly. I had to spend $95 on an Alexander Arms bolt to fix the issue. Once I installed the new bolt it ran like a champ. I was happy with the accuracy. I can just about cloverleaf three shot groups. Thankfully I bought it during a great sale otherwise it would have been a bust. As it is,even with the parts I had to replace, it's a bargain compared to a similar Alexander Arms upper.
