Very effective
I did the research on this muzzle device and all of the tests consistently showed that it substantially reduced recoil and muzzle rise. I can now add more affirmation to those claims. My experience with this device thus far has been shooting with 5.56 ammo in the 55-65gr. range from the seated and standing positions. Recoil and muzzle rise are nearly non existent. At 50yds. looking through my BUIS the target doesn't leave my field of view after each shot making repeated target acquisition very fast. Poor finish, looks used
Ordered the black Nitride version, the Comp/brake arrived. QC is non existent on this product. I wish I can post some photos I took. Finish is Extremely ruff (and that's putting it nicely). coating looks like it's Phosphate instead of Nitrided, scratched all over, DING and Dents on the edges of the ports. For the price you can get something much higher quality and finish. Returning this ASAP.

Works well, not too loud
While I cannot directly compare this to other comps, or even to an A2 on the same gun, (this is all I have run on this gun) what I can say is that this installs easily and seems to work quite well.
I do smell the air from this comp, so I know it is working, and the gun shoots very smoothly without everyone else at the range being hammered with back pressure. I would suggest this is a very good comp without being the most aggressive. Get it - it works!

Super nice comp.
Thought this would be super loud, not so, does have some side blast but that should be expected but this comp. performs great low recoil keeps your rifle on target for follow up shots and looks great on the end of your rifle to. Another great product from Rise Armament.

WOW!!!!!!!!’
If you’re trying to get multiple rounds off under a timer, you need this. I’ve tried several brands of muzzle furniture and this one is by far the best. You would think that an M4 style carbine could absorb most of the muzzle rise with its buffer system. This makes a biiigg difference.

Great compensator
Easy to install and keeps my 16” AR on-site. Looks awesome as well. My buddy was standing to the back left of me and could feel the shockwave blasting him. He said he is going to pick one up as well. Sweet compensator

Rise armament muzzle brake
Great price from Optics Planet .Excellent muzzle brake ,works great definite reduction in muzzle rise.Looks awesome in stainless steel in combination with a stainless barrel,easy to clean .Comes with the crush washer,Beautiful machine work. .Highly recommended.

Awesome Product!
I can't say enough about the Quality and Perfection of RISE Armament products and this recent purchase of mine was only one of them. I highly recommend all of your serious AR owners replace some of your possibly basic standard parts with a possibly superior RISE Armament product as soon as you have some spare change.
