Fits perfectly!
Perfect fit. Locks in place without wiggling. Much better than aftermarket magazines, should have purchased this one the first time. Once again proves to pay a little more for original parts from manufacturer. I won't make that mistake ever again!
Doesn’t Cycle
Purchased the Mini 30 magazine in 5,10, & 20 round for the Ruger American Gen 2 in 7.62X39 as this was what was supposed to be the correct one. Haven’t shot any of them, but the 10 round magazine doesn’t cycle the ammo. The first round out chambers difficulty and the second round is pushed into the magazine at a 180 degree angle. Every time I tried it. When looking closely the magazine is clearly built different than the 20 round one.

They Work!
FINALLY! Some mags for my mini 30 that actually work. The cut at the front of the magazine is a little lower than my factory 20 rounders. And OPTICS PLANET ACTUALLY HAD THEM IN STOCK! I looked all over the webs for factory 10 rounders and everywhere was sold out except here.
You have a lifetime costumer in me!

Ruger Mag - used for bolt action rifle
These work fine in the Ruger Bolt Action. I haven’t tried them in a Mini 30. I read some bad reviews about these concerning the Mini. The bolt action may be less finicky than the Mini. Regardless, if you have a bolt action Ruger that takes these, get a few while you can. Ruger Mini magazines have never been plentiful, so stock up!

- Bolt action rifle

Best fit mag
If you can afford the extra few bucks over the promag I definitely recommend it. The structure is much more rigid, the material is thicker and the shape helps to naturally rock in. The bullets have no feeding issues so far. A common issue with feeding errors is the lip at the top. Thin metal in that location easily bends and bullets miss it and get launched right out. Hasn't happened so far. Thoroughly enjoy it.

Bought two of these, neither will feed in my Mini-30 Tactical
Just got around to trying these magazines in July after ordering them in February. Neither will feed a cartridge into the chamber. The tip of the bullet is below the feed ramp. The twenty round magazines that came with the rifle both work just fine.

Mag review
These magazines seem well made, the exterior fish feels strong and well made, the follower is made from a durable plastic. My biggest complaint which really isn’t directed at the mag but at the gun that takes them is that you need to insert them at a over exaggerated angle to get them to lock up.

Ex-Military
The product is very well made. Always best to buy Original Factory Equipment. Very fast service, and cost was the best that I could fine anywhere. The steel magazine work is far superior to plastic ones. Holds up in all kinds of climates and repeated use.
Pros:
- Works in all situations that it is under
Cons:
- More expensive then plastic magazines
Best Used for:
- Use in original weapon
