Safariland is the standard for quality

As stated Safariland is the highest quality holster on the market. It is the most intuitive design, draws are smooth, and the retention just works. If you get one you will probably stick with them. The price is not a bargain and for quality products it never will be.

Did not fit.

Received the holster today and it did not fit at all. Not even close. I had to remove it with pliers the first time. Took the tension screw entirely out and had to put my boot on it to get it free. I then baked it in the oven twice to see if it would fit better and it didn't change a thing. This is my 3rd safariland holster and honestly, probably my last.

best plain clothes LE option

Very durable and secure. Ride height is ideal for plain clothes duty. Snaps in securely with ease every time. Draw is smooth and consistent. Felt lining is excellent for protecting the finish of you pistol and this holster sits nice and tight to your body with a silhouette that will not catcch or snag clothing or your surroundings. On or off duty this is my owb go to.

Nice setup.

I was looking for a next tier holster, and this was it. It’s a very smooth draw. The potential modularity is very nice. My only beef is that i cant fit a 1.75 inch belt through it, but that not really their problem anyway.

So I brought this with a leg stoud and it match up perfect and also was way cheaper then any of the other site and for Safariland you can’t beat the price for a left it’s so hard to find a decent left hand holster well I got mines ��

Bad quality

Ordered this holster and received one with the tension screw stripped. Sent it back and then waited about another month. Same thing and this one didn't even have the Allen wrench to adjust the screw. Not that it would help anyway. safariland makes some low quality items but how could optic planet not do quality control and inspect a product before sending it out to the customer. I understand if it happens once but to receive two with the same exact problem, I think they just waited a few weeks and shipped back the same one.

Not up to snuff

It took an inordinately long time for this holster to arrive and I was not happy when I tried it with my Glock 34 and Glock 17. The fit was not to my satisfaction and the thumb release mechanism was of poor design and functionality. In the end I bought a holster made by another manufacturer that I am totally satisfied with. The only plus for this holster is that it keep the gun secure. God help you if you have to take it out in a hurry.

Great product Great Company

I needed a holster to fit my Glock 17 Gen 3 with a Surefire X300 mounted. Product exceeded my expectations with ease of use and speed of draw. Didnt have to alter any of my holster drawing motion and the thumb release is in perfect spot. The go-to holster for that weapon configuration in my opinion.

Great holster

I always use ALS holsters. I have not had a problem with any of them in 6 years. This holster is well built and fits a g22/23 with the tlr-1 very well. It has the ALS lock as well as an adjustable retention screw.
