Like it so far
Love the way the optic and mount are built so far. Very stout and it’s very clear

Weight discrepancy, not even close to 14 oz!
I bought this based on listed weight on all of SIG's press kit information that went tout to dozens of review sites. If you actually check their website, it lists the weight as 26.5oz, with mount. If you take off the mount, it weighs in at 18.5oz, pretty much the same as the non compact model. I tho...

no consistently powered illumination
Works fine for a couple weeks then never works consistently. Turns on but doesn’t stay on, buy something else. Will be contacting customer support for an exchange for something WAF.

Recently, I acquired two high-performance Sig Sauer TANGO MSR Compact 1-6x24mm Low Power Variable Optics (LPVO) with a 30mm tube and second focal plane configuration. Quick and easy to mount on AR rail. Bright and clear, illuminated reticle is great and the six brightness levels are plenty. Optics Planet had the best price on this item.

- Sight Picture Crystal Clear
- Easy install & adjustment

SIG's marketing was false as usual
I got this scope based on the pretense that it would weigh 14.5 oz and be nice for lightening the overall weight of my AK, unfortunately sig's marketing was a lie. Their website has since changed to only list the weight at 26.5 oz for the scope and mount combined. The Sig MSR Compact scope on its own weighs 19 oz and is actually heavier than my Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 which is 18 oz, has better glass, and is a cheaper scope.
Do yourself a favor and get a Leupold LPVO instead if you want lightweight, they don't lie about their specs.

Follow up review
There is no option to edit my previous reviews so here arfe some additional thoughts
- the weight is much more 19oz (only scope).
- Does not focus well between 2.5-4.5x magnification
The second reason is why I returned this scope.

Compact lpvo
It's exactly what it claims to be. The reticle is sharp, the illumination is sufficient. It holds zero. However, the adjustment is stiff, which I'm hoping will ease over time, and the picture down range is a soft focus at best. Still trying to see if that's me or an adjustment I can make on the scope itself. For the price point, I hope it's an adjustment I can make.
Pros:
- Clear reticle
Cons:
- Soft focus
