The finish of the barrel has a rough flat finish and not polished at all like the original barrel. I'll fix that... I dropped the barrel into the slide. The slide would not drop the barrel down to cycle the action. I had to press the barrel down to clear the slide so it would come back. Then, ...

Requires too much fitting
There are two different P220 barrels. Unknown why, but the phosphate version requires an extreme amount of fitting and the blued version does not. The price for the phosphate is about $40 higher and the additional guns itching charge. The blues version is less expenses due drops in...doesn’t add up....

Sig threaded barrel
As of all factory parts , this is the only way to go you know it will fit perfectly and perform as expected. Bought to run my new suppers

Nice upgrade for the barrel to the firearm. Has a nice finish and quality to it and the price was best around compared other places. Even comes with thread protector which is a plus.

P220 .45 Threaded Barrel
Beautiful, fits perfectly. Described as phosphate finish but at first glance I would have guessed black nitride. Hard chrome in bore & chamber looks flawless. Expect this will outlast my grandkids... The package is secure but oversized, would prefer the 2-piece tool sleeves used by Lone Wolf & Silencerco for long term storage. Quality is as expected from Sig, heartily recommended without reservation

Sig Sauer Threaded Barrel in Sig P220 Nitron Full-Size
This barrel dropped-in without any fitment issues at all. My P220 Nitron is a police turn-in with a 37A series serial number built in the USA which means a one piece slide. My slide showed wear from previous use which may have aided in this new barrel dropping in a cycling each round without an issue.
